Happy Hump Day Everyone!! Only a few days until the weekend already!! Where does the time go. I am so glad that Spring is here, so for my card today, I decided to share a more springtime image. I had a great time water coloring and cutting out Water Lily from Whimsy stamps from the Mythical collection illustrated by Katie Sowa. Isn't she just so fun?!!! This image could be used for birthday's, thinking of you, hello's, or just about anything.
I created this card with the Midnight Madness Sketch challenge in mind. The paper is from Scenic Route Sonoma which I have had in my stash forever!! I just love the soft yellow and pink together. The image was cut out and adhered with dimensionals to a background dry embossed with Swiss Dots on Very Vanilla cs. I just had to glitter up her wings...after all what is a fairy without glitter. After reading Vicki's post for yesterday, I realized this card is also perfect for the One Stop Craft Challenge this week which Whimsy Stamps happens to be sponsoring! The challenge is to Let it shine using glittery or bright embellishments.
The envelope is created using Priscilla's 6X6 think style envi kit found here, using some golden Bazill, Sonoma dp and a large star spacer.
Thanks for stopping by!! I hope you enjoyed today's post. Be sure to stop by again for more inspiration from my talented dt sisters!
blessings,
Chris
