Super Boy!

I don't know why but I struggle so much with masculine/boy cards. I was excited to see Super Boy in this month's release from Whimsy Stamps (there's a Super Girl too!! FUN!!)--it was fun to switch it up and make a boy card and it all came together easily with this awesome stamp.

My only dilemma was what colors to use. LOL! I immediately thought of red/white/blue but decided to go for something a bit different. I like the end result!

Have a SUPER day!! Ohhh, and be sure to check out the new and improved Whimsy Stamps website! I really love the new design of it!!

Berry Sweet

Hello friends! Hope your week was good!! I am here to share a card I made recently. I used one of the new ones from Krista Heij-Barber called "Berry Sweet".

I colored her with my Copics which was super fun, loved shading the strawberry! The sentiment comes with the stamp. Hope you joined us for the last release, there was some wonderful inspiration to see. You can check out the new releases at Whimsy Stamps here.

Hope your weekend is fabulous!

Lazy Kitty

Good morning Whimsy fans!  I hope your week has gone well and you have some wonderful plans for the upcoming weekend.

It's my turn (Shelby) to give you little inspiration heading into the weekend.  The April release was filled with amazing new stamps and dies and of course, this sweet Lazy Kitty from Crissy Armstrong, is no exception.
Doesn't he have such the life?!!  The sentiment (stamped on the ribbon) is also included with this stamp.
Thanks for stopping by today and have a great rest of your week.

Sew Special and Dress Making Die Set

Hello crafty peeps!!  I've made another attempt at a card without a colored image. I have used the new sentiment set called Sew Special and the new Dress Making Die Set.  They are both new to the Whimsy Stamps shop this month.  These sentiments and dies go so well together!

Cute, right?! I will be returning to this sentiment set again soon.

Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today! I hope you enjoyed my project and feel inspired to get a little crafty.

You’re Sew Special

Morning!  For my inspiration post this month I have a card with no colouring.  I absolutely LOVED playing with the Sew It Special sentiment stamp set and matching Dressmaking Die Set.

I trimmed the dress form die cut with a scrap of flower lace.  Just that tiny bit totally va-va-voomed the form Open-mouthed smile

Steampunk Girl

Happy Monday, Whimsy fans!
Ellie here today, my turn to share a creation with you! You might have already seen this if you hopped along with us last week, it was my first blog hop card.
Although steampunk isn't really my thing, this image was so much fun to color and work with! And I have to admit, I am very happy how my card turned out!

I  used copic colors for coloring. It was my first time coloring black/gray hair. I did use a blue copic along with gray tones, to give the hair a blue undertone. My main colors were going to be black, red and white, but then when playing around with the card design, I decided to bring in more blue.
The little squares were stamped using an ancient SU stamp. You could easily use a small inked acrylic block for this too, or simply make your own square stamp with crafting foam.
The clock designs were done using a stencil. Sorry I don't know the company of the stencil, as I removed it from the packaging. Sentiments and stitched border are from Whimsy's new set "Sew Special". The dotted border is washi tape from Joann's. I used the new button dies to cut out the button to add to my card. Finished it off by adding some glitter and sewed the edges.

Pirate Boy!

Hi Everyone! It's Shannah here today to share some Whimsy Inspiration with you!

I've used the new image from Krista Heij-Barber called 'Pirate Boy', available from Whimsy Stamps, and it's so cute that I couldn't resist making TWO cards! (Well actually I had two ideas and couldn't decide which to go with so just did both lol!)

Here's the first card...

And a close up of the cute little Pirate Boy ;)

The images were stamped with Memento ink and coloured with Copic markers. I fussy cut around them ready to use for each card.

Here's the second card...

  And another close up...

I hope you like them! You can see more details on my Blog;  Embellished ExpresShan's.

Thanks so much for visiting today and hope you have a great week!

Moondrop

Hello, Louise here today
For my card I have used the gorgeous stamp called
I have coloured the image with copics and used kraft card to colour on
I am really pleased with how the copics worked on Kraft.

I have gone for a simple layout and used the sentiment that came with the stamp
I am going to save this card for my teenage daughters birthday
because she loves anything a little quirky and different.
