Scrapbooking layouts

Hi everyone!

Here is Fabi and Im so happy to be here with this wonderful team to share with you a bit about my passion: stamps and scrapbooking layouts. Im known for using stamps and clustering embellishments in almost all my layouts.

For the layout on this post I have used several old papers scraps mixed with some scraps from a recent paper collection. I like to mix different collections and do that having in mind a color pallete - once I define the colors, it's easier to go through my scraps stash and find the right ones. :)

Don't be afraid to also mix embellishments. This adds an extra touch to your pages...go for it and mix wood accents, chipboard, buttons, twine and of course...stamps! For this layout I have stamped in colorful papers (yellow and green) to match my theme. Then I've added foam tape to create my own embellishments.

Here a close up:

The stamps used are from the cute Contest Ribbons and Simple Sayings Notables sets.

I hope that my posts can inspire you to add stamps to your pages and not restrain then to cards and alter art. Stamps are my favorite itens and there is a reason for it: they can be used in many different ways :)

Hope you enjoyed and stay tunned, soon I am back with more layouts featuring our newst releases!

Cheers,
Fabi

Just A Note To Remind You How Amazing You Are

Hello it's my turn to host the Whimsy Stamps Inspirations Blog and this time I would love to share a card I made a few days ago, this is texting diva from Kenny K available at the Whimsy Stamps Store. Who does not have a teen that's always on her/his Cell phone, I have three and it seems like they have the phone glued to their hands. So here's to them....
My image was colored with Distress Reinkers, my papers are from Basic Grey.
Here's a close up on the image, I love her soft wavy hair!
I made this bottle cap embellishment, from beads and crystal effects, thought this would look cute on the left hand corner.
A close up on the flowers. My sentiment is also from Whimsy Stamps....These are the Everyday Honey Comb Sentiments,I also used the Honey Comb Die Set for a clean crisp cut! Thanks for peeking and I hope you enjoyed my card !!

Beau and Bashful

Good morning.  It's my (Shelby) turn today to show you a little somethin somethin.

The September new release was just loaded full of awesomeness and one of my fav stamps was Beau and Bashful from Sylvia Zet.

Aren't they just a pair of cuties...so many different ways to color them up!!  The corner stamps and the sentiment stamp are also from Whimsy.

Thanks for swinging by today!

Inspiring Apple

Hi :)

It's Kathy here with a card using the gorgeous new Elisabeth Bell stamp Apple Dumpling.
Isn't she Sooooo Sweet!

I also used the new Christmas set Holiday Sliders 3 with matching Slider 3 die as a nice frame for the sentiment from Treasured Moments Tickets.

I coloured her kind of brightly with my copics but I bet she would look beautiful done in a softer style too.
I'll have to give it a try next time :)
If you'd like to see what copics I used, I have them listed on my blog here.

I hope you get some time to create something beautiful today.

Kathy

A little fairy love from Jodi

Time for a little Monday inspiration - Jodi style!  I'm here to share with you a card I designed using the wonderful Sylvia Zet image called Rowan Fairy.  I just love her designs and this one was such a delightful image to ink up using my Copics.  I enjoyed keeping it bright and airy with my color choices and then adding the fun frame to show her off.  I also used the whimsical die cut border from Whimsy called Dragonfly Border Die  to add some interesting dimension behind Rowan.  Some leaf die cuts, a bird cage and some fibers were added also.  A small birdcage charm dangles from the fibers to finish it off.  I think it makes a great "any occasion" card.

I wish you all a terrific Monday (if there is such a thing!)...

Hugs,

Texting Diva

Hi Everyone! It's Shannah here today to share some Whimsy Inspiration with you!

For this card I used Kenny K's fun new Whimsy stamp "Texting Diva", and matched it with a Whimsy favourite, "Everyday Sliders Sentiments 1" - "HB2U" was kind of perfect for the whole 'texting' theme ;)

The image is stamped twice with Memento Tuxedo Ink, coloured with Copics, and then both images fussy cut out. I also used Copics to give some matching colour to the sentiment. The papers are from Echo Park 'Country Drive' 6x6.
I double mounted the image on foam and framed it with a Nestabilities Romantic Rectangle, and then finished it off with some flowers and a touch of bling!

You can see more details and the Copic colours I used on here my Blog "Embellished ExpresShan's".

Thanks for visiting and hope you have a wonderful weekend!!
