A Fond Farwell ...

Sadly, the October 2013 publication of the Whimsy Inspirations Magazine was our very last issue. Therefore, we are saying goodbye to some of our amazing design team members who will no longer be with us in the New Year.

DeNetra, Janette, Melissa, Shanna, Tammy Louise, Erin, Mariska and Madge - it has been an absolute pleasure to get to know you all.  We have loved every minute of you being part of the Whimsy family and will miss each and every one of you. Thank you so very much for all the time, commitment, talent and friendship you have each shared with us. We wish you the very best and look forward to you guest designing for Whimsy in the future. Big Whimsy hugs to you all!

Hi everyone!

Simonne here with the final holiday inspiration card and anagram letter of our 24 Days of Christmas Event.   I can't believe how quickly this month has whizzed by!

Before I continue, I would like to wish everyone a very ...

MERRY CHRISTMAS
and a

...on behalf on the ENTIRE Whimsy Stamps team!

Thank you SO very much for your continued support and love.

Okay, so on with the show, lol!  For those of you who don't know, the Whimsy Stamps design team have been holding a fun event here on the Whimsy blog in the run up to Christmas. Each day from the 1st to the 24th of December, a member of the design team has shared a brand new Whimsy holiday creation and today's it's my turn to share the very last day's creation!

For my card I inked up the adorable Snowflake Bauble rubber stamp illustrated by Jo Davies of Time For Tea Designs for Whimsy Stamps. My sentiment is from the Holiday Sliders 3 stamp set and I cut it out using the coordinating Slider 3 die. I also used the fabulous Tall Timber die, the Rocking Horse die and one of the dies from the Ornaments die set as embellishments:

Supplies
Whimsy Stamps rubber stamps: Snowflake Bauble and Holiday Sliders 3 set
Whimsy Stamps Shapeology dies: Tall Timber and Rocking Horse and Slider 3 and Ornaments set
Memento Tuxedo Black ink

Copic markers
Bazzill Cardstock
Echo Park 6x6 paper pad: Tis The Season
Baker's Twine, May Arts 3/4" Twill/Chevron Stripes Ribbon, 4mm black half pearls

Each day during the event we are posting a letter, so here is your final letter ....

So now you should have collected all 24 letters. If not, check back through the December posts here on the Whimsy blog and grab them!  Hopefully, you should now be able to unscramble them to make a 4 word phrase. Email the phrase to whimsystampscontests@gmail.com by 31st December 2013, and if you've guessed correctly, you will be entered into the draw to win a fantastic GRAND PRIZE!

We are also running some fun SPOT PRIZES throughout the entire event. The prizes could be hidden here on any of the December Whimsy blog posts or on ANY of the daily DT member's blog posts, so be sure to leave a comment on my blog as well as one here on the Whimsy blog to be in with a chance to win!

Thanks for stopping by today and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

Day 23 of 24 Days of Christmas with Whimsy Stamps

We have been having an amazing time at Whimsy this month.  Each day a different artist has been showcasing a wonderful image on our countdown to the Christmas holiday.  And we are almost done!  Today is day 23 of 24 and I have no doubt you have all been blown away by the gorgeous art created by the ubber-talented team.
here's my card for the day!  It uses a great image from Time for Tea Designs called Marshmallows and Coffee.  Isn't she just the cutest?   I colored her up with my Copics, added some doodles, then I used some design papers from my stash to create a blocked background.  The Joy sentiment is from My Sentiments Exactly, stamped and fussy cut out.  A pretty bow finishes it off.  A simple design, but such stunning results!

Each day during the event our artist will be posting a letter.  Keep a list of the letters as you go.  Once you have collected all 24 letters, put your thinking cap on and unscramble them and make a 4 word phrase.  Email that phrase to whimsystampscontests@gmail.com by the 31st of December, 2013, and if you've guessed correctly, you will be entered into the drawing to win a fantastic and simply ahhhhmazing GRAND PRIZE!

Have you figured out your letter for the day?
(h)

We are also running some fun SPOT PRIZES throughout the entire event. The prizes could be hidden here on the Whimsy blog or on a DT member's blog, so be sure to leave a comment here and on my blog Kaboo Designs today for yet another chance to win!

Thanks for joining in the fun - I wish you and yours the Merriest of Christmas seasons ever!
