Whale of a Time With Sparkle!

Hi friends!
Michele here with a fun card sharing my card using Whimsy Stamp's Whale of a Time stamp set!
It is such a fun set to color and play with!
I colored the images with Copic markers and fussy cut each of the images.  I used Whimsy's new Wonky Window Die to create the background.   I paired it with glittery silver and blue paper.
I always seem to need thank you cards, so I incorporated the new Thanks Word and Shadow die.
I colored the top layer of the word with Copics to give it a gradient effect. I popped up the top two pieces on the back piece with Crafty Foam Tape.
I added a few touches of hot pink for contrast and used a few clear droplets from the Coral Coast Sparkletz collection.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Deni is a Copic Ambassador for Australia and New Zealand and you can watch her in action colouring up this adorable pair on her blog Angel Handmade Papercrafts. You can now find Copic Markers right here at Whimsy Stamps. Links at the end of the post.

Sabrina has also used Copic Markers to colour this sweet image. Sabrina is a Copic Marker Ambassador for Italy and you can find a wonderful Copic Tutorial by Sabrina over on the Copic Italia site featuring one of our sweet Whimsy Stamps images. Sabrina has paired this gorgeous image with a brand new set of digital papers from our January New Release called Hearts A Flutter.

Valentine Lilith

Denielle has used Copic Markers again to colour this fabulous image. You can follow along with her colouring on her blog. I love this fun edgy pair and Deni has coloured them so perfectly. Her clever merge of these two images, creates a really fun Valentine image.

Valentine Luca

I just love how Sabrina coloured this fun image. Luca is looking every bit the debonair Valentine in this design. Sabrina has used Copic Markers again and added her fabulous floating hearts background freehand. She's paired this fun Valentine image with more papers from the digital set called Hearts A Flutter.

I'm excited to bring you more inspiration from the Digital Divas at the end of the month. You're SNOW Sweet

You're SNOW sweet but it's SNOW cold outside...better get Bundled UP!

Today I'm featuring one of the little bunnies in the Bundled Up clear stamp set, I did a post a few days ago using the other bunny in the set if you want to take a peek HERE.

I used the Bundled Up set for all my stamping on this card.  First I stamped the snowflake randomly for the background then added Simply White Nuvo drops to each of their centers.

Then I die cut out a Notched Square and stamped the bunny with Memento black ink and colored him with Copic markers (R83, RV34, C1, C3, W1).

The sentiment was stamped with Versafine Clair Black ink (love this ink for sentiments).

I matted onto a pink card base and popped up the Notched Square with foam tape for added dimension.
Hope you have a great day and are keeping your toesies cozy this winter.

Elegant Thanks - Columbine and Hummingbird

I was so excited to color up this newly released stamp with my Copic markers.  This elegant Columbine and Hummingbird is so easy to color.  With all the small dots in the stamped image the shading is almost already done for you.  The hardest part was to decide on the colors I wanted to use as hummingbirds and Columbine flowers come in so many shades and colors.

I think it would make a beautifully water-colored card as well, all you need to do is stamp it in a lighter color to make the stamp lines less prominent.  I know you will enjoy this stamp as much as I have.  I look forward to using this stamp over and over.

When I colored the image, a lot of the colors in the background aren't from your natural Copic blending colors.  I used lighter fun colors for the background to blend with the E81 E84 and E87.  I literally just smooshed them together until they blended.  Because they are the lighter colors they slightly erase the prior colors allowing for an easier blend.

You can find this stamp in the store and if its sold out be sure and fill out the "contact me" so you will be the first to know when its available again!

Angel Celeste

Happy Sunday! This is Jeanette and I am here to share a card that I made using some of the new January released products paired up with a previously released product. I adore how beautifully all the older and newer products work together.

I stamped the Angel Celeste rubber stamp onto smooth, white card-stock and colored her up with Copic markers.  Once that was done, I trimmed it up to fit onto an A2 sized card.  I then stamped and heat embossed the sentiment which is from the new You're too Kind clear stamp set . The final set was to position the Star galaxy stencil over top and carefully sponged some of the stars.  I then heat embossed these as well. I used gold embossing ink and then I used clear embossing powder to heat set the ink.

Old Geezer

Hi, it's Jamie Martin with you today and I hope everyone had a Happy New Year and is ready to have a creative crafty year!  I sure am and it's time to share a card made with new January release stamps and dies.

Today I used the Old Geezer Clear Stamp Set which comes with a bunch of funny sayings but for this card, I used the new Old Fart Large Word Die to go with this Old Geezer.  He's colored with Prisma Colored Pencils and his background was stenciled with the Formal Lattice Stencil, which was sponged with Tea Dye Ink.

The image is layered against a panel stamped with the new Buffalo Plaid Background Stamp using blue ink.  And to make it just a little extra funny I added glitter to the gas plume, hehe.
