~ Whimsy Stamps - Miss You ~

Whimsy Stamp's new release is full of awesome springtime stamps!  When I saw the new Bunny Balloons 2 Clear Stamp Set, I knew immediately that I wanted to use this adorable bunny along with the floating balloon.  I think it makes the sweetest "missing you" card plus, I  think it would make a lovely sympathy card.

The new Up in the Clouds Die Set is so cool!  You can choose to use the center pop up circle for the sun, like I did here, or use the sun by itself.  I love the extra dimension the pop up circle gives to the design of my card.  I have also used the new Pierced and Stitched Circles Die Set.  There are eight dies in this set, which gives you so many layering options.  I have chosen to trim off part of the left side of the circles and grass.  You don't always have to use the whole die cut.  It's nice to use your dies in different ways and to change things up once in awhile.  I am totally in love with this card and that I was able to create my vision!

Smile!

Hello!
Michele here with a brand new card to share!
It is finally spring!  I am so ready for all of the flowers to bloom and to get outside!
I absolutely adore the Beaucoup Bouquet set!  It is so pretty and has such a great variety of flowers!
I stamped the images in Black Versafine ink and colored them using watercolors.  Once they were dry, I splattered them with white acrylic paint.  I used the Beaucoup Bouquet die set to cut them out. I wanted a couple of larger leaves, so I used the leaves from the Peony die set.  I gave them a bit of shimmer using glossy accents and Glamour Dust.
I used the Kinetic Straight Waves Die set to create an interesting backdrop to the flowers.  I gave the panel a bit of color with Distress Oxide ink.  I layered the flowers and leaves using Crafty Foam tape.  I slipped a doily underneath and added a sentiment using the Smile Large Word die. As a final touch I added a few gems from the Coral Coast Sparkletz set.
Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Angel Ariel

Happy Monday! This is Jeanette and I have a card to share with you that features the very sweet Angel Ariel rubber stamp.  I kept this card very simple so that the image would shine! It was such a lovely image to color.  I love all the folds in her dress as well as all the layers in her hair.

I stamped the image onto Neenah Solar White Smooth Cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. This is my preferred combo when I am coloring with Copic Markers (I have listed the Copic Markers that I used below). Once the image was colored, I added some background color using  light grey and  light yellow prismacolor pencils.  This gave a nice soft effect to the card.

I created an A2 sized card-base using some bright red card-stock.  I thought it went nicely with the deeper tones in her dress. I then cut the card-stock with my colored imaged to measure 4.0" x 5.25".  This way I have a nice border with the card-base.  I scattered a few sequins to fill in some of the empty space and stamped a small sentiment up in the left-hand corner.  I then added some white high-lights onto the image using a white gel pen.

Copic Markers Used:
Skin: E000, E00, E11, R20, R30
Hair: YR30, YR31, YR24, E35
Dress: R30, R32, R35, R37, R39
Wings: 0, W00, W1, W3

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope this inspires you to create a Clean and Simple card using this gorgeous image!

Bright and Beautiful Flowers- Jamie Martin

Hi my friends,  it's my turn to share a card made with this month's new products.  Look at these fabulous flowers that are in the Beaucoup Bouquet Stamp Set! They're gorgeous flowers AND there is a matching die-set available.

To make my card the flowers were stamped on watercolor paper with VersaFine Ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.  They were then colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens and die-cut with the matching Beaucoup Bouquet Die Set.

The Thanks Word Shadow Die Set was cut using gray and blue papers and layered.  To add just a little something to the white background, grey ink was splattered using a wet brush.
