Today we have a new video for you over on our YouTube channel. DT member Jeanette has created this adorable Halloween themed door hanger with our Spooky Sookie Halloween Fairy stamp and Halloween Die Set.
You can see this video and more on our YouTube channel or watch this video below.
I colored her with my Copics and made the watercolor background. The moon was a fun challenge for me. I heat embossed the sentiment. I have a list of Copics used on my blog. I had a lot of fun making this card and being creative.
Have a fabulous weekend!
Hi there! I’m sharing a wintry card using the sweetest little fairy - Shimmery Sprinkles Faery by Elisabeth Bell. I love her! And she can be used for both Christmas and non-Christmas cards too. I have also used a sentiment from the Country Christmas Sentiments set. Other Whimsy products used are their Corner Dies set and the Lace Doily Border Die.
Catch up with you next month
We have a special video on our YouTube channel to share with you all today. We asked the super talented Catherine Pooler to share one of her amazing ideas using some new Whimsy goodies, and voila a one of a kind Christmas card! In this video Catherine shares a technique using Brusho along with our Funky Christmas Tree Die and Merry Large Word Die.
We hope you are inspired to give this idea a try!
For today's card I used the adorable new image from Art by Mi Ran called 'Bringing Presents' and also the Snowflake Border Die . That sweet little squirrel is just too cute! And, as with all Mi Ran stamps, it was so much fun to colour with all that gorgeous hair and pleats.
As usual, my colouring medium of choice was Copic markers, and you can see the colours I used listed on my blog. The sentiment is also from Whimsy Stamps, but unfortunately no longer available (sorry I only realised after I used it!), but you can find the matching die on clearance with the link below.
I used Fun Flock on her coat and Stickles on the snow to give some texture to all that white, and finished with some roses from Wild Orchid Crafts.
Thanks so much for visiting today and hope you have a great week!
Today, DT member Kimberly is sharing another in depth coloring tutorial over on our YouTube channel. This time she's using Elisabeth Bell's new stamp Shimmery Sprinkles Faery. Enjoy!
