Bunny Balloons - special guest - Betsy Veldman

I have a fun project today using some adorable stamps from Whimsy Stamps.  They asked me to be their guest this month and I'd like to share with you the adorable Bunny Balloons set (those little bunnies are just too sweet to resist!) and the Straight Edgers die set for my post.

Here's the card I created using these goodies.  I started out with a small rectangle of watercolor paper, and used the Straight Edger dies to add the stitched detail all the way around the edges, then rounded the corners with a corner rounder punch.

I stamped the small bunny and balloon bunch from the Bunny Balloons set using Memento Tuxedo ink, then colored it with my Zig Clean Color pens. and sponged some ink around him.  The sentiment is also from this set, there are so many great ones included, for lots of different occasions.

I wanted to created a cute background to go along with that adorable bunny, so I used a pencil and a circle template to sketch in some circles, then used my Zig pens and a wet paint brush to color them and blend the color.  I used the markers to just color along the left side of each circle, then spread the color with the wet brush.  I added a few tiny star sequins for just a bit of sparkle.

These products were fun to work with!  Thank you to the nice folks at Whimsy Stamps for letting me be their guest!
