31 Nights of Halloween - Night 2

Hi Everyone, Emma here today to share a fun Halloween creation using the Going Catty stamp set illustrated by Dustin Pike. I love this cute cat!

I first colored the cat and then drew in the pumpkins and hills with a pencil. After that, I softly erased the pencil lines so I still had guidelines to be able to color them in.  I learned how to color the hills in a scene from Faye Wynn-Jones while at the Whimsy Stamps Retreat earlier this year.  It's a lot of fun to create your own backgrounds, so I decided to use the technique to make this pumpkin patch scene.  After the hills and pumpkins were colored in I colored the sky and added stars with a white gel pen to finish it off.
