Snow Road

Hi Everyone, it's Faye here today :)

I am prepared to admit Christmas is coming. I am also prepared to admit I made a Christmas card. Yes, I know, I should have warned you to sit down first, sorry. The newly released Snow Road is the kind of image that begs to be coloured immediately. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I've coloured this gorgeous stamp with copics and added a few extra scrumptious supplies from Whimsy too. I started by die cutting the image with Rounded Rectangle Dies. Can you spot the other items?

There, that should have helped. The sentiment is from the Christmas Ellie-Ments Stamp Set and I die cut that with Quick Strips

I stamped the Snow Flurry Background Stamp onto Vellum with white ink and embossed it, I love this effect. And finally, a few star gems from the Starry Sky Sparkletz Pack. Careful, these little packets of lovely are addictive!

And that's it... time for a mince pie ;)

Maynard Bear with special guest - Pamela Schumacher

Hello again! I am back again today to share another creation as a guest designer for Whimsy Stamps, and just couldn't resist this utterly adorable little bear called Maynard. The moment I saw this little cutie I knew I was going to create some kind of baby card with a shaker element!

  baby bear
I stamped this little cutie with Copic friendly ink onto X-Press It Blending card, and then colored the image with Copic markers.

~Copics~ Grays: BV23/20-C4/2/0/00 Pinks: BV20/R22/21/20/30/01/00/000 Yellows: Y19/15/11

I added details to the scarf with a white gel pen.

This was such a fun little card to make! I used the Kinetic Straight Basics Die Set for the pretty little border, and the Shaker Maker Combo Die Set for the shaker element. The pretties inside the shaker are Sparkletz-Coral Coast

Thanks so much for joining me today! Happy crafting!!

Gazebo Overlook

This is Barbara and I wanted to share a project I colored using Gazebo Overlook by DoveArt for Whimsy Stamps. I went with a night time theme instead of day light.

Colors are listed on my blog if you want them. Hope you have a sunshiny day!

Love you more than the deepest oceans...xxx

Happy Monday everyone!

The gorgeous new releases from
Whimsy Stamps
have been absolutely beautiful this month haven't they!
What a fabulous month of gorgeousness we have had!

I absolutely LOVE today's card.
I have used the beautiful DoveArt stamp
The anchor is such a special image I think.
As well as its obvious symbolism of the sea and sailors it represents constancy in love and hope, it is also the recognised jewellery hallmark for jewellery assayed in Birmingham UK - where I was born.

Sand Castles

This gorgeous Sand Castle from is amazing.
It is so detailed and just fantastic.
Who wouldn't want to sculpt this masterpiece at the ocean?

Hello all, Dorinda here with this afternoon's post.
This is one the latest DoveArt Studios images available from the latest release

The picture doesn't capture all the waves and clouds but I used some copic C4, on the sky to give some outline, then added Copic opaque white using a Qtip to fluff in some white tops.
Again, using the Copic Opaque White, I popped in some crashing waves.
What a blast to make. I can hear the ocean now and yet  I managed to stay dry :D.

Stay creative,

~ Blooming Flower Pail ~

Hello my fellow crafters,

Pink Lilies

Hello everyone,
Today I have another floral card for you. Lilies are one of my favorite flowers and when I saw the gorgeous Flower Lily stamp by Doveart I was thrilled.

I stamped the lily on some Arches coldpressed watercolour paper, which is my favorite when I use watercolours. I used a very light ink to stamp my image so as to get a no line colouring effect. I painted the lily with my Daniel Smith water colours and then trimmed the panel using a stiched rectangle die and matted it on a pretty pattern paper. The card does not need anything else and I hope you liked the post. You can find all the wonderful stamps at www.whimsystamps.com
See you soon
