Stuck on You Cactus

Hello!

I have a simple layered card to share with you today using the cute and pretty
Fairy and Puppy rubber stamp.

I coloured this one all in Distress Ink markers as a bit of a change from Zigs and used some layers of patterned papers from my stash to match the colours to.
These aren't at all my 'usual' colour choices but I love them and I actually think they suit the stamp very well.

The sentiment is from the the clear stamp set Polka Dot Fun which has a great selection of simple sentiments that don't take up heaps of room and are great on little 'badges'.

I've listed the products available in the Whimsy Store at the end of my post, along with links to take you directly to the items, just click on the pictures.

Thanks for visiting!

Tilly Dancing

Hello!

It's Linda here with you today sharing a card made with the sweet little Tilly Dancing.

I coloured her with my Distress Ink markers, you can find the colours on my blog.

I fussy cut Tilly once I'd coloured her up and because that meant I lost the sparkles from her wand, I sort of added them back in with some bling.

I kept the colours subtle and delicate to suit the image.

I also used the Hand Stitched Nested Rectangle dies on my card.

A bit of cheesecloth between the layers helps add a softness to the card.

That's all from me today, but stay tuned for lots of inspiration from the team!

Bunny Balloon Shaker

Hello!
It's Linda here with you today sharing a sweet little shaker card using the new Bunny Balloon stamp from Whimsy's Kirsten Winkelbauer collection.

I paired this with the Big Balloon Celebrations die set to add a fun shaker element and the balloon string and Celebrate sentiment are from the Big Balloon Celebrations clear stamp set.

The white rectangle is cut with one of the Hand Stitched Nested Rectangles dies.

That's all from me today, see you next time!

Braided Sweetie

Linda here and oh my, I'm running a little late. I did not realise it's already the 4th Saturday in the Month and my posting day on the Whimsy blog.

To make matters worse I've been very busy trying to clear stuff in my spare room as I'm finally getting a craft room! Woohoo! It will still need to act as a spare room so it's definitely going to have to be adaptable storage etc.but at least it means I should have everything in one room instead of racing up and down stairs lol.

Anyway, I'm here now and sharing this pretty card made with a lovely stamp from our new artist
She's called Braided Sweetie, isn't she just so pretty?

I've coloured her with distress ink markers and if you would like to know more about this card, pop over to my blog here.

Right, back to sorting out storage!

Happy crafting!

Moose Friends

Hello lovely crafters! Linda here with my turn to post on the blog and this time I've gone all CAS. This is not my usual style but I do love it when you want to send a quick card in the post and it really does seem to suit some images more.

This stamp, Moose Friends by Crissy Armstrong, appealed to me as soon as I saw it, it's just so fun and heart warming. I love the punny sentiments that come with it too and just had to use one of them on my card.

I coloured them up with my distress ink markers, (if you would like to know the colours just pop over to my blog here), to match these lovely papers. You're getting a bit of a sneak peek of these as they are being released next week!

I thought this would be perfect for sending to a couple for Christmas, but you could also send it to a loved one or from the 2 of you etc or just to a friend, the choices are endless depending on which sentiment you use.

That's it from me today, have fun!

'Spring is coming'.....Well it's here now...kind of.....

Hello Whimsy friends!! Cindy here today to share with you.  I know Spring is officially here but I know in some places it doesn't feel that way!!

For the card today I used a new image from Wee Stamps 'Jenny'.

I stamped her on watercolor paper and colored her with my Distress Markers. The sentiment I just printed off my computer.

You can find all these products at Whimsy Stamps.

Hopefully you are enjoying the first of Spring and staying warm!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful Holiday weekend!!

Cindy
