Nerissa the Mermaid

Hello, I’m sharing a card using sweet Nerissa the Mermaid from Whimsy Stamps, and even managed to sneak in some pink!  The sentiment is a digi from the Vintage Sentiments set.

I coloured the image with copic markers, and free-handed some sand and sea weed for a bit extra detail.

Naia the Mermaid

My sea themed card features one of the new stamps here at Whimsy Stamps this month, Naia the Mermaid.  I absolutely love her and her little turtle pal so hard.

I used the following copic markers:

Skin: E04, 11, 00, 000, 0000, R20
Hair: E55, 53, 51, 50
Mermaid: BG78, 75, 72
Turtle: E43, 42, 41, 40; BG96, 83, YG61

I free-handed some plants and sand to anchor (ha!) the image and added some light with very pale copics (BG0000, 000, 70, G0000, 000)

I used the new Mermaid Scales Stencil and some Iced Spruce Distress Ink to carry the sea theme through on to the backing papers.  The little bubbles and netting are dies from my stash.

I printed out one of the Everyday Banner Sentiments and trimmed the end into a fishtail.

Floral Beauty

Hi there, it's Janine here with more Whimsy Stamps inspiration for you.

Today I'd love to share my card made using the beautiful digital paper 'Floral Beauty' from the new release together with a digital sentiment from a previous release called  'Family Forever' set, then to add a little detail I used one of the dies from the 'Envelope Edger' set.

 

 

I recoloured the digital sentiment 'Family' from black to white and added it to the digital paper. The paper was  printed out and used to cover a 6" x 6" card front. I die cut some white card using one of the Envelope Edger dies and attached it to card front using foam pads. To finish the card I used some cream ribbon and a gem my own stash.

Coffee Friend

I am very pleased, that I have the opportunity to show my cards here.  

Today I show a card for all Coffee Friends :) I am Ute and I show you this inspiration:

How I made this card?

I work with Pixelmator to cut the Digital Stamps, because I will only work with the word FRIEND. After the cut, I copy past the word in my program Pages. I adjust the sentiment on the page... I will work with a regular stamp set and use the coffee theme. I need also a second sentiment, but I haven't one how fit. So I write Coffee in a font, that I like. After finish I print the paper out with my Laserprinter. Now I cut the card in 4x11Inch and score it by 5.5 Inch. I foil the sentiment with a foil from my stuff. After than I stamp one cup, masking and stamp the second too. Now I color the cups with my Prismacolor pencils.  I like to have a face in the cups and use a stamp set from Simon Says Stamp for the smilie. At least I use a strip of paper on my card. 

Which Whimsy products I used?

I used the wonderful Sentiment "Say it big"  and I also use an older stamp set "Coffee Break" for my card.
