31 Nights of Halloween - Night 1

Welcome to the kickoff of Whimsy Stamps' 31 Nights of Halloween event taking place the whole month of October! Stop here at the Whimsy Blog at 6pm every night for more Halloween inspiration and prizes!

I pulled out a few stamps and dies to make this:

I stamped the zombie (If I Only Had a Brain) in eggplant ink repeatedly (without re-inking) on a white panel cut using Hand-stitched Rectangles.  I used stamps from Vintage Backgrounds right on top of zombie man in orange ink.  I adhered that panel to a kraft base, then added an orange strip with the sentiment (Joe Zombie) and purple strips cut with Pierced Border Trio dies. I stamped and cut out a word bubble, and added the word "Brains" to it (If I Only Had a Brain).  I cut the hand from Zombie Trio dies, added some Vintage Background to it, and adhered it coming up to grab you!  I added a button/twine treatment to finish it up.
