Snowy

Today I'm sharing some November Whimsy Stamps inspiration with you. So for this month's card I've used a sweet little digi image called 'Snowy' and a beautiful digi paper is from a collection called 'Christmas Roses & Snowflakes'. Both the gorgeous little girl and the paper are part of this month's new release, and is available from the digital section.

First I printed my 6" x 6" digital paper directly onto some smooth printer paper and trimmed it to size and attached it to my card front.. The digital image was resized and printed directly onto colouring cardstock, then coloured with Copic pens. I added a little sparkle of course...well it is a Christmas card. I mounted the finished image onto some dark blue card and added it to the card front. To finish my card I added a die cut snowflake and snowman.

The Gift of Christmas

Hey Whimsy fans, I'm excited to be sharing with you today, a brand new range to Whimsy Stamps! Whimsy has recently taken on the CC Designs range of Rustic Sugar digital images and I for one am absolutely delighted as I LOVE these sweet images. I've chosen to create a Christmas Gift Bag with this sweet image.

The bag is quite a large size, 28cm x 21cm and was a plain red base with kraft handles. It's not 'new' as I'm all about recycling! It was a gift bag one of the kiddies got last year, so I kept it, especially as it was plain and would make such a great base! So I get extra satisfaction from being able to pretty up and reuse/upcycle an old gift bag.

This sweet image is one of my favourites from this newly released range. I think this wee elf is just so cute! I kept the colours very simple focusing on the traditional Christmas colours of red, green and white with a touch of sparkly silver.

Here's a closer peek at the elements used in this creation. I've added a paper with stripey Christmas colours to create the main background element and then layered over top a pretty red paper with a soft sheen to it and a square diecut from soft green card. I added a doily behind the image and then adhered the layers to the bag base with strong double sided wonder tape.

To finish off this design I used a lovely diecut Poinsettia, which was cut with a fabulous Whimsy Stamps die set. I've used a pretty paper with a lovely satin sheen to it and in reality it's absolutely lush. I topped off the Poinsettia with the little diecut centre from the set and finished it with a gold flatback pearl in the centre.

Pine Bough is another great image from our DoveArt lineup of stamps. The realism of this is truly breathtaking.

Merry Cactus is an absolute darling image, sure to put a smile on your face and it will be super fun to color.

We have one more fairy making her debut this month. This one is Merry Wishes Fairy and she is just as sweet as can be.

November Release Day 4

We are starting things off today with two great new photopolymer stamps from our Amped2Stamp line. First up is Favorite Flake.

I can't help but think of the movie Shrek when seeing the super cute Ginger Snaps stamp set. The sentiments Deb put in the set are brilliant.

Cookies for Santa by Krista  Heij-Barber is an absolutely adorable image. I love this little guy just floating around in his cup of cocoa.

Last up for today is a great large background image, Cozy Blanket.  This image is sure to be a staple in your collection as it pairs well with so many great images and styles.
