'Hello'......a Valentine's Day card

Hello everyone, Cindy here today.  I hope you had a wonderful Holiday!! Today I want to share a card I made over the weekend. I used a Time for Tea Designs image called 'Heart Balloon'.

I colored her with my Prismacolor Pencils. I cut out 4 of the 'Hello' word die cuts and glued them together then heat embossed it with some purple. I also used the 'Bow die'.  I used an embossing folder and embossed 'love u much' over the image. You can barely see it.

Make sure and check out all the products that are being retired. Time for Tea Designs is one of them!!

Wishing you a safe and wonderful New Year!!
Cindy

I hope you have a wonderful weekend. I can't believe June is almost here!!

Dinner Date

Happy Monday, Whimsy fans!!

Ellie here today, my turn to share something with you! This was one of the creations made for our February blog hop :-)
The stamp is by T4T designs - Dinner Date. It was so much fun to color and practice those folds with!!

Stamped onto xpress blending card and colored with copic markers. The papers are from my stash. I used a clear stamp set by Whimsy for the words on the white circle. The sentiment is brand new from the set "Elegant Labels" and cut out with the new matching die. Embellished with some punched butterflies, rhinestones, glitter, and I added a diecut border.

Music Girl!

Hi Everyone! It's Shannah here today to share some Whimsy Inspiration with you!

For today's card I have used the fun new 'Music Girl' stamp from Time 4 Tea Designs, available from Whimsy Stamps.

The image was stamped twice with Memento ink, coloured with Copic markers, and fussy cut. I then double mounted the image onto layers of papers from a digital kit.

I also printed several of the kit elements which I also fussy cut and added to the card as
embellishments.

Hope you like my card!

Hope you have a wonderful week!

Bookish

I used the fabulous Bookish stamp on this card which is from Whimsy Stamps--Time For Tea Designs collection. I'm really smitten with these stamps! I also used the sentiment from Whimsy Stamps-Raindrop Echo Designs- Friendship Ticket Sentiments

She has glossy accents on her glasses so that's why you see a little glare in the photo. :)

Have a super fabulous crafty day!

Cupcakes anyone?

Happy Thursday Whimsy Fans, and  thanks for stopping by!
Ellie here today, it's my turn to share a Whimsy creation with you. Hope you like it!

For my main image I used a stamp from Whimsy's August rubber stamp release by Time for Tea Designs.
Image has been stamped onto copic xpress blending card and colored using copic markers. I used it along with an older sentiment from Whimsy's mini chalkboard greetings, which was released a few months ago. The butterfly border die that I used here is also available at Whimsy Stamps. Embellished with a little button and twine, and added glitter to the cupcakes.
Product list:
Cupcake Stamp, mini chalkboards (both by Whimsy Stamps)
copic blending card, recollections 110lb card stock, bazzill card stock
designer paper from Whimsy Stamps (I think it's from this pack)
butterfly border die (whimsy stamps)
washi tape, striped vellum paper, button, twine
Hope you have a fabulous day, and be sure to check back here often for more Whimsy Inspiration by the Design Team.

Hello!!

Happy Saturday Whimsy Friends! Iris here today with a creation featuring Cozy Cardi by Time for Tea Designs from Whimsy's latest rubber stamp release as well as some dies from the recent Clearly Whimsy release.
Cozy Cardi was colored using pencils and alcohol markers and the outline was doodled using a Copic Multiliner Pen. The sentiment is die cut with the 'Hello' die from the new  'Say What - Speech Bubbles' die set.  The small die cut stars are from the same set. The wavy purple and yellow layers are created using the 'Stiched Border Die Trio'

Here is a closer look on the image. I also added some purple shades to her brunette hair.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!
Hugs,

Iris

Cozy Cardi!

Hi Everyone! It's Shannah here today to share some Whimsy Inspiration with you!

For this project, I inked up the sweet new image from Time 4 Tea Designs called 'Cozy Cardi'. I also used a sentiment from the new 'Chalkboards 2' set from  SC Designs.

I stamped the image and sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Ink, coloured the image with Copicmarkers, and sponged around both pieces with Distress Ink.

The papers are from Basic Grey 'Pyrus' 6 x 6 paper pad, and I only had small pieces left so arranged them in a pattern with wide lace covering where they didn't quite meet! (cheeky I know!)

I framed the image and sentiment with Nestabilities Romantic Rectangles and attached with mounting foam. To finish I embellished with some roses and pearls.
You can see more details on my Blog;  Embellished ExpresShan's.

Hope you have a wonderful week!

Medium:  copics

Okay so a fairly clean and simple card from me this time and I hope you like it.  Wishing you all a very happy Friday and have a great weekend folks.

Take care,

You are my Sunshine

Happy Wednesday Whimsy Fans and welcome to the Whimsy blog!

Today I am sharing a card made with one of the newer stamps from Whimsy Stamps' Time 4 Tea designs - Sunflower. I also used some older whimsy stamps.

I started out by masking of part of the card using torn paper, so I could spray the top and bottom separately green and blue using Dylusions spray inks. Then I used a mini cloud stencil and some gesso to make the cloud. I ended up adding more gesso over the whole sky part because I wasn't completely happy how the sky looked.

Next I stamped Whimsy's "Live Defined" background, masking the grass portion, as I only wanted the words on the sky part.
On the bottom portion I used the a mini tile texture stencil and some water mist to lighten parts of the ink and to create a fun texture. Next I stamped some grass onto the card. I wanted a little border so I used Whimsy's tree stamp from the set "For all the Women in our Lives" and black archival ink.

The image itself was stamped onto copic blending card and colored using copic markers. Fussy cut and adhered to the card. Sentiment is included with the fun "Sunflower" image by Whimsy's Time4Tea designs. I finished it off my adding a couple small punched out butterflies.

Hope you have a fabulous day,

Sunflower!

Hi Everyone! It's Shannah here today to share some Whimsy Inspiration with you!

This card was made using the adorable "Sunflower" from Time 4 Tea Designs, and "Life's Moments" sentiment set by SC Designs. I have also used the Whimsy Lovely Lace Tape 'Ivory No 5'. All of these are available at the Whimsy Stamps store.

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Ink, coloured with Copic markers, and sponged around image with Distress Ink.

Hope you have a wonderful week!

You make my heart sing

Happy Wednesday Whimsy fans, and thank you for stopping by today!
Ellie here, it's my turn to share a Whimsy creation with you. I hope you like it! It's a card I had posted on my blog earlier this month.

The main stamp is from Whimsy's Time 4 Tea designs - Flower Girl. She's been colored with copics and I used my cutterbee scissors to cut her out.

The background has also been stamped using mostly stamps from Whimsy Stamps - All you need is Love by SC designs. The music sheet background that I used is not from Whimsy, but you can find a similar one at the Whimsy Store.

To create the background I simply stamped the winged heart image from "All you need is love" set, music sheet background, and the little hearts from the set named above, using antique linen distress ink onto white card stock.  I also stamped the winged heart image around the edges, but just part of it. Then I inked the card stock with spun sugar and antique linen distress inks and distressed the edges using a distressing tool (you can also use scissors for this).

I layered the card onto some designer paper from MME, did some sewing and added some twine, and then adhered it onto the kraft card base. The sentiment is also from that same stamp set.

Here are the direct links to the Whimsy products I use,
and as I mentioned above, I recommend the music notes background stamp too, if you don't already have one in your collection.

Have a fabulous day and
happy stamping!

Shy Girl

Hello Everyone Iris here! Hope you all are having a fabulous weekend so far! Today I like to show you a card I made with one of the new Time For Tea Designs images 'Shy Girl'.

I colored her with Distress Inks. She was stamped onto Fluid hot press watercolor paper. I've been neglecting my Distress Inks for quite a while now and I'm trying to use them more often. It's always just so fast and easy to color using alcohol markers. But definitely enjoy coloring with DI, it's so relaxing and I love the soft look of it!

This is also my inspiration card for our new Whimsy FB Group Challenge.
Come and join our group
to enter the challenge. There's still plenty of time as the challenge runs until February 28th. This month you can win a $15 Whimsy Voucher!!

Hugs,

My sentiment is from the Holiday Sliders 3 stamp set and I cut it out using the coordinating Slider 3 die. I also used the fabulous Tall Timber die, the Rocking Horse die and one of the dies from the Ornaments die set as embellishments:
