It's Kimberly here with you, and I have two very sugary sweet confections for you today.

The first is a stacked cupcake card!

To make the "Stacked Cupcake" card:

 Prepare white card base of 4.25 x 5.5. Cut two panels of white card stock 3.75 x 5.5. Die cut the zig zag edger down both sides of the card base. On one panel, apply the Poppin Pink over the Sending Sunshine Stencil. Once dry, sponge distress orange ink over entire panel. On the second panel, line up letters from the 

Bold ABC Die Set spelling upcake, 

running through the die cutting machine, once again adding the c. 

Mask and offset stamp the Calories Schmalories cupcakes in alcohol compatible black ink.

Color cupcakes with alcohol markers and add 

a dusting of fine clear glitter.

Adhere die cut layer over stencil layer, 

and affix to the base card.

The second is another yummy cupcake card with an explosion of sweetness!

To make the "Yum! Cupcake" card:

Prepare white card base of 4.25 x 5.5. Cut a panel of white card stock 4.5 x 3.5. Apply Orange Glow over 

the Whimsy Stamps Honeycomb Drips Stencil.

Mask and ink a cupcake from the Calories Schmalories set to add the candle. Color and cut images.  

Add sentiment onto a .5 x 3.5 in white card stock strip. 

Adhere stencil panel to card base, add sentiment strip with 3 iCraft Dots 1 1/2 glue dots adding cupcake with one glue dot onto the upper portion of the cupcake image to the stencil area. A small liquid glue will affix the bottom portion of the cupcake to the sentiment strip. 

Add a dusting of fine clear glitter.

Bring on the Cupcakes

Hi friends. Alanna here and I am sharing a fun card today using some super fun products - Calories Schmalories and Checkerboard Background. 

I started out by stamping the Checkerboard Doodles Background using the Versafine CLAIR Nocturne ink pad onto a piece of white card stock. I love the bold look of this background and how the squares aren't perfectly sized.

I then stamped, colored with Copic markers and fussy cut 3 cupcakes from the Calories Schmalories set. This set is so fun and I love all the different cupcake options and the super cute sentiments.

After my cupcakes had been colored, I added some glitter pen to the frosting and then covered each of the frosting sections with Glossy Accents.

I stamped the sentiment 3 times onto some narrow strips and added them with foam tape.

Here is a closeup of a couple of the cupcakes that gives you a bit better view of the glitter and Glossy Accents over the frosting.

Cupcakes Galore!

Good morning! Michele here with TWO cards using the adorably cute new set by Whimsy Stamps called, Calories Schmalories! I just can not get enough of this set!

This first card was water colored.  The main image as well as the background panel.  I wanted it to have a sort of pop art feel, so I made sure the white areas remained really white.

I added Stickles to the darker pink areas for a bit of sparkle and shimmer.

I just couldn't resist adding a teeny flower from the Build a Garden die set. I cut the flower and leaves from water color paper and water colored it.  I adhered it to the cupcake with a little sweet string bow underneath it. 

I wanted the cupcake to stand out against my colorful background, so I cut a circle using the Pierced and Stitched Circle Dies. I added a shadow under the cupcake using a Copic marker.  I stamped the sentiment directly on the circle.  I used the Birthday die cut and adhered it directly to the background.  I added a scattering of gems to finish the card off.   

For my next card I wanted to stack the cupcakes to create a tower.  I masked off each layer and stamped the cupcakes with Black Memento ink.  While the masks were still in place I used Distress Ink in Spun Sugar to give it a soft color behind the cupcakes.  I colored the image using Copic markers. 

I stamped the sentiment using Versamark ink and embossed it in white. For the "table" that the cupcakes sit on, I used the new Curly Q Background Stamp. I used a Copic marker to add shadows. 

For my finishing touches, I added gems, Stickles to the frosting, and glossy accents to the straw.
