31 Nights of Halloween - Night 30

Hello, crafty friends! It's Lisa here with you tonight, and I have a quick and simple Interactive Slimline Halloween Card to share with you plus a video tutorial.

This card is super simple.

Die-cut the Slimline Film Strip and Slimline Hill House Die from Navy cardstock or any color you prefer. Save the bottom inlay frame when die-cutting the Film Strip Die. Die-cut pattern paper. The great thing about this card is you can pick and choose the scene you want from the Haunted Paper Pack to tell your own story.

Trim a piece of cardstock to cover the back of the film strip die; I find it much easier to build the card and then cover the back to add to my card base. Cut the house out of the Slimline Hill House cut out.

Using Scotch tape secure the pattern paper in the film strip from the backside.

Decide on the placement of the house on the lower part of the card, trace around the inner window lightly with pencil, and punch a small hole using hole punch or crop-a-dile.

Map out the placement of lights and secure in place with Scotch tape.
Add a small piece of vellum behind the window to be lit up, add mounting foam strips to the back of the house, and secure on the film strip.

Adding mounting foam to the back of the film strip around wiring and cover back with white cardstock. Using glue to the back and center on a white 100# slimline card base.

Stamp sentiments from the Grave Epitaphs and Halloween Postage Stamp Sets using navy ink, add foam adhesive strips to the back and adhere to the card.
