31 Nights of Halloween Night 19 Special Guest Kathy Schweinfurth

Exciting news!  I'm thrilled to be guesting for Whimsy Stamps -- especially during the 2nd Annual 31 Nights of Halloween Blog Celebration!  How fun is that?!!

Creepy, crawly spiders...not a fan, but I couldn't resist these frightening critters to use for my card!

To start, I used the Card Builder Windows Die Set to cut watercolor paper and created a watercolor background.  Then, I sponged Black Soot Distress Ink using the Halloween Creatures Stencil for the spiders and 'sea' of bats. The 'halloween', from the You're My Boo stamp set, was gold embossed and then the black 'happy' was stamped.

Hope you'll stop back at the Whimsy blog tomorrow night for more BOO-tiful projects and FRIGHTful fun!

  2. Absolutely fabulous Halloween card, featuring one of my favourite 'icky' images: spiders! Bats run a close second, so I'm having 'chilly tingles' in seeing both of these on your panel! Spook-tacular!
