31 Nights of Halloween - Night 1 & Giveaway!

EEEEEEeeeeee it's here, it's finally here my favorite Whimsy Stamps event of the year!  

I'm so excited to be kicking off our 2nd annual 31 Nights of Halloween blog celebration!

And now for my post tonight, I'd like to introduce you to the Halloweeners...

If you like cute for Halloween then the Halloweeners stamp set is just for you.  Whimsy has something for everyone in their Halloween collection from creepy and crawly to cute and funny and everything in between.  Check out the Halloween/Fall Collection HERE.

  To start off my card I used black ink on white paper to stamp the Galaxy Galore background. Then I cut it out with the Shaker Maker Rectangle die. 

The skinny silver border was done by nesting the two largest dies from the Shaker Maker Rectangle set on a full piece of glitter paper.  Once it's cut there's a skinny piece left over so I just put that piece inside the Galaxy frame and taped it on the back to secure it.  I added foam tape to the frame and adhered it to a black card base.

I colored the little stink eyed vampira with Copic markers and fussy cut her out

I did the same for the little minion mummy and his pumpkin treat-or-treat bag

The mummy is obeying the sentiment and bringing lil stink eye vampira her Halloween candy

I added a little bit of white pastel chalk underneath each of the characters
