Hi Whimsy fans! Crissy here on Day 20 of the "31 Nights of Hallowe'en"!!
I have a fun little game to play and it could mean free Whimsy product for you!
All I want you to do is comment below with the name of your favourite candy from Hallowe'en, from your childhood! If you didn't trick or treat as a kid, then just tell me your favourite scary movie!!
My favourite candy was the Sweet Tarts! Omygosh, mouth is currently watering, even as I type it out, LOL!!!
My favourite scary movie has to be Jurassic Park! I have a memory of hiding behind the couch when the kitchen scene came on - me and my daughter immediately hid behind the couch and only peeked at the screen when we felt we were able to handle it, LOL! Yes, I did that, as a grown woman!! ROFL
If you comment on this post and tell me your favourite candy (or scary movie) you will automatically be entered into a draw, and one person's name will be chosen to receive one of the following:
A free Crissy Armstrong rubber image of your choosing from Whimsy Stamps
OR
A free Crissy Armstrong clear stamp set of your choosing from Whimsy Stamps
OR
Three free Crissy Armstrong Digital images of your choice from Whimsy Stamps
You have until 11:59pm on October 30th to enter!
The lucky winner will be announced here on Halloween Night!
Anyway, onto my card...
I coloured it using multi-media. I started with Copics, and then used some distress inks and some coloured pencil. I did some sponging on the sky to get the glow around the moon. I used the distress inks like watercolours, and used a thin water colour brush to do the grass strands.
I am IN LOVE with Tracy's papers, and I just feel so empowered that I can download and print out what ever sheets I want, and as many times as I want when I get one of her packs of digital paper! It is a dream to be able to do this at home with my own printer! Saves loads of space too!
Layering is a breeze also, because I can layer it in my word program! No more need to carefully cut layers!! Can you tell I love this stuff??? ;-)
