31 Nights of Halloween - Night 10 - Special Guest Kelly Wauters

Hi Whimsy friends! Kelly W. here. 

Welcome to Night 10 of the 31 Nights of Halloween Event!

I am so excited and honored to be a part of this awesome blog event. 

Halloween is my favorite part of the year, and creating Halloween cards is my absolute favorite hobby.

I love Pumpkins so I definitely wanted to use the Bat Balloon stamp

First I colored the image with regular coloring pencils. 

Then I created a starry background with my Gell plate and some acrylic paint. 

I glued Mr. Pumpkin onto the background, glued the background onto white cardstock, et voila - 

One fun, cute, Whimsy Halloween card.

31 Nights of Halloween - Night 12

Hello, and welcome to day 12 of the 31 Nights of Halloween Blog Celebration!

The card I'm sharing today was made for the October issue of Making Cards Magazine and all instructions for it are in there. 

It's a slider card and I used the super fun Bat Balloon rubber stamp for my image and to make it extra fun I hid the pumpkin behind several gravestones made using the Dracula's Coffin die set.

As you slide the balloon up, 

the pumpkin gradually appears,

until it's in the sky!
