A Koala Thank You

Hello, Whimsy friends!

Michelle here, sharing a card I created using Koala Cuteness Stamp Set, and

Farmhouse Wreaths Stamp Set.

I love the way this koala hugs the wreath! 

I stamped and fussy cut the koala and wreath.  In the stamp set, this koala is clinging to a tree. 

I used Copic Markers to color.

For the koala: E40, 42, 43, 44; For the wreath: YG21, 25, and G99.

I added some 100 to the nose and a little PrismaColor Pencil shade for the cheeks. 

I stamped the wreath repeatedly onto kraft cardstock using forest moss distress oxide ink.

Than I added some paint splatters with white and black paint.

I also added some splatter to the wreath. After the paint dries,

adhere the koala to the wreath.

I embossed the sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock with white embossing powder.

Assemble your card. I added some shimmer with a strip of glitter cardstock, a few sequins and some

stickles glitter glue.

Spiral Roses Thanks So Much

For today's post I'm featuring a really pretty rubber background stamp called Spiral Roses

I first heat embossed with white embossing powder on Bristol cold pressed watercolor paper.

I wet my paper with water first then floated/dabbed on some purple inks (Tim Holtz wilted violet and dusty concord distress inks). After it was dry I went back add added darker highlights to random areas with the concord grape ink.

Once it was all dry I cut a portion of the completed Spiral Roses into a square and glued that to a black card base. For the top I cut off another portion of the background and fussy cut around the flowers then glued that down to the black card base.

I used the scallop from the Kinetic Curved Basics die for the white strip and stamped the sentiment from Everyday Scripted Sentiments.

For a final touch I added a couple of Jelly Fish Sparkletz which added just the perfect purple bling on the sentiment area. I LOVE all these Sparkletz and they're even better in real life.

For my fun Halloween card, I used the Bat Balloon and Galaxy Galore Background cling rubber Stamps...

The Bat Balloon image was colored with Copics then fussy cut. I created the background of my card by inking up a piece of Yupo paper with Sailboat Blue Alcohol Ink. Then I used the Galaxy Galore Background along with Alcohol Lift ink to "lift" the ink off of my panel. This stamp shows wonderful detail! I also stamped the Bat Balloon image over my Galaxy Galore panel and then foam taped the fussy cut image right on top to make this card even more fun :)

Delightful Daisies

Hello, today I’m sharing a card using the sublime Delightful Daisies background stamp and the Notched Squares Die set.  I coloured the background stamp with copic markers.

I kept the additions to a minimum, this stamp does ALL the talking!  I adhered 3 of the Happy large word die cuts together and finished off with the birthday sentiment from the Happy Sayings stamp Set.
