Introductions and a Farewell

The Whimsy new release team is growing, and we are super excited to have Jennifer and Traci join the team starting in January.

Here is a look at the complete New Release team for the first six months of 2023. There is a lot of talent on this team, and we are super excited to have these 12 ladies who will be brining you amazing inspiration with each and every release.





We are also saying goodbye to Sue, Sylvie and Michelle, and Michelle. They have wowed us with their creations each month and we wish them all the best!

Digital Design Team Introductions

Hello friends and happy Saturday!
We have one final exciting announcement for you this week.
We are introducing the new line up of our fabulous Digital Creative Team.

This team is dedicated to sharing projects featuring our wonderful digital lines
and sharing their expertise working with digital elements.

We are excited to have so many of our talented digital designers back this year
and also excited to welcome two new designers to the team!

Wendy will be leading this team and we are thrilled to welcome back
and to welcome to our Whimsy Stamps family the lovely Larissa & Maaike!

InstaPinners Team Introductions

 Hello friends and happy Friday. We have another exciting announcement for you this week. We are introducing another new team to you today - this time it's the InstaPinners team. 

This team will be sharing their projects all over social media and will also be using previously released Whimsy products that you might already have in your stash. 

Crystal will be leading this team. You might remember Crystal when she was with the New Release team back in 2020. We are excited that she is back with the Whimsy Stamps family. She will be joined by these other fabulous designers - Aly, Candice, Colleen, Jen, Loralee, and Zoe.

New Release Team Introductions

DT Call announcement


Thank you all so very, very much for taking the time and effort to apply for a spot on our rubber stamp and die design team. We were blown away with the number of entries we received, and it is so wonderful to know how much you love our little company.  We know that it takes a lot of courage to enter a design team call, as of course not everyone can be chosen. If you weren’t chosen on this occasion, please do not be disheartened. Please know that we appreciated each and every application.

We were not only looking for excellent colorists, but for people with a crafting style that would complement the current team. Whimsy Stamps carries rubber stamps from a diverse range of artists, from the cute and whimsical, to the more quirky and trendy.  As we require our full-time designers to work with images from every artist, we were looking for crafters who we felt would be able to do that. So in addition to reading your application posts, we also took the time to look through every applicant’s blog, to get a more well rounded idea of each person’s crafting style.

It was a very hard decision because there were so many fantastic entries, but without further ado we would like to invite the following ladies to be full-time members of our rubber stamp and die design team for our next 6 month term (January 1st 2015 through June 30th 2015).

Clearly Whimsy Stamps DT inspiration & some news!

Happy Saturday! I hope all our US friends had a wonderful 4th of July yesterday!

Before we get to this week's Clearly Whimsy Stamps DT inspiration, we have some exciting news to share....

We are thrilled to announce that the super talented Becky Carafa and Jen Carter will officially be joining the CWS DT for our next DT term starting August 1st (although you may see a few new cards from them this month if we're lucky, hehe!):


Becky Carafa

I am so happy to be joining the CWS team! I started stamping 14 years ago, and haven't stopped since!  My style is mostly clean and simple, and embossing is as far as I go where techniques are concerned.  I have been married to my husband Chad for almost 13 years, and we have two kids, Adam (8) and Annika (4).  My first career was in teaching, but now I work part-time in the retail world. I also love to read, cook, and hang out with my friends.


Jen Carter

I am so excited to join Clearly Whimsy Stamps as a design team member! I am a wife of 17 years to Dwight, and a mom to Mason who will be in 6th Grade this year and Sadie who is going into 1st Grade. We live in Kansas and my husband is the Lead Pastor at our church. I am very involved in our church as well and have led our Women's Ministries for quite a few years now (this coming year I'm taking a much needed break!) and also have been very active in our children's ministries in various ways. I love serving the Lord! I work part-time as a Secretary at our elementary school and I enjoy my job very much! I am so blessed to be able to work where I can see and be a part of my children's lives on a daily basis! I started scrapbooking in Junior High and then later in life transitioned into stamping and card making. It is such a joy for me to be able to spend time with my papers, inks, stamps & dies! I am honored to be a part of the Clearly Whimsy Design team!

Whimsy News and Welcome Danni!

Hi Whimsy fans!

We have some very exciting news to share ... we are thrilled to welcome Danni Bindel as the newest member of our rubber DT! Welcome to Whimsy, Danni!


We are all very much looking forward to getting to know Danni and see how she works her magic with our Whimsy products.  Here is a little bit about Danni in her own words together with one of her gorgeous creations:

I am so excited to be joining this amazingly talented team here at Whimsy Stamps! My name is Danni and I'm a mom to Matthew who will be turning 13 in August and Annabelle who will be 10 in September. I've been married to Sam for 15 years, 14 of which he was in the US Army. We have one dog, Freckles and I simply love zoos and animals and have hopes that when I grow up I can work at or volunteer at a zoo.

 We live near Omaha, Nebraska and I recently got a job, after being at home for 13 years, at a grocery store in the salad bar department and Sam just got a job at Burlington Northern Railroad.

I started scrapbooking 16 years ago and swore I'd never stamp and then 9 years ago I was introduced to stamping and as they say, the rest is history. I love to make cards and my favorite part of that process is coloring! I can't wait to share my Whimsy Stamps creations!!

Monthly Rubber & Die NEW RELEASES ...

Not only have we have decided to switch back to monthly rubber & die releases from July onwards, we have also made a few changes to our monthly release schedule. We are now going to hold 3-day new release evenst each month from July onwards - 2 days of sneak peek hops plus a grand blog hop on Day 3.  This will now happen on the first Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of each month, so you can mark your calendars in advance!  We hope the changes to our release schedule will be beneficial to all our fans and customers.

So with those changes in mind, we are excited to tell you that our July Rubber Stamp & Die release sneak peeks start on Monday 7th July!! We invite you all to stop by as we have lots of fantastic DT inspiration to share plus some fabulous prizes for you to win.

A Fond Farewell...

The end of June marks the end of our first DT term of 2014. Therefore, we are saying goodbye to some of our wonderful design team members who are moving onto pastures new.

Danielle, Heidy, Jenny, Jodi and Kathy - it has been an absolute pleasure to get to know you all. We have loved every minute of you being part of the Whimsy family and each of you will be greatly missed. Thank you for all the time, commitment, talent, and friendship you have each shared with us. A Fond Farwell ...


Sadly, the October 2013 publication of the Whimsy Inspirations Magazine was our very last issue. Therefore, we are saying goodbye to some of our amazing design team members who will no longer be with us in the New Year.

DeNetra, Janette, Melissa, Shanna, Tammy Louise, Erin, Mariska and Madge - it has been an absolute pleasure to get to know you all.  We have loved every minute of you being part of the Whimsy family and will miss each and every one of you. A Fond Farewell…

It is never nice to say goodbye to a team member, but one of our Digi Team Magazine Staff designers, Marilyn Scheller, has decided that the time has come to move onto pastures new.

Marilyn joined the Whimsy Stamps Digital design team over 2 year ago in June 2011. She quickly started contributing to the Whimsy Stamps Inspirations Magazine, first being published in our August 2011 issue 2, and then officially began her role as Digi Team Magazine Staff Member from issue 5 (you can read the announcement in issue 5 of the magazine here).

It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Marilyn in both her role as a digi DT member and as a Digi Team Magazine Staff member. Thank you so very much for all the time, dedication and talent you have shared with us Marilyn, and for all your hard work creating wonderful samples for the Whimsy Stamps Inspirations Magazine! We wish you all the very best for the future.  Big Whimsy hugs from us all!
