Goldfish Kid

Hi :)  Kathy here to share a card I made using the new August release stamp Goldfish Kid by KennyK.




My kids love puns and funny sayings on cards so I came up with this one and just printed it out on the computer. I also used a sentiment from Treasured Moments Tickets and cut it out using the Ticket Die.  I think it was perfect given their huge smiles.   I used warm grey copics to colour the Kid so that he might look like he was from a comic and highlighted the fish by colouring him brightly.  I also used crystal effects on the bag to make it shiny.

This is the first time I've ever used a KennyK image and I love the way he turned out.  It's a great stamp for boys or men of any age!

Monday inspiration with Jodi


Jodi here to share with you this fun card I created using Crissy Armstrong's adorable image called Trick or Treating.  I think it is easily becoming one of my favorite Crissy images... just too stinkin' cute!

To create this one I used my Copic airbrush system to create the night sky using several different colors to obtain the variance.  Then I spatter painted the stars with white acrylic paint.  The image is colored with my Copics, then fussy cut out so that I could place them on the night sky.  I thought the image and background were so dramatic that I didn't want to add a lot of other things around it.  Just some patterned papers and a simple ribbon bow.  I love the way it turned out.

Sweetest Apple

Hello Patricia Here and it's my turn to host the Whimsy Stamps Inspirations Blog and I decided to share this New card with this New Image from the August release, my card features Sweetest Apple by Elizabeth Bell available at the Whimsy Stamps store.
I colored the image with Distress Reinkers, Love her sweet little face!!
A close up on the image. My sentiment is also from the New August release, these sentiments are a must have in any crafters stash!! These are the everyday honeycomb sentiment set.

Hi everyone, it's Shelby here today to show you one of the new August release stamps from the fabulous Jo Davies and her line of stamps called Time for Tea Designs.

This wonderful stamp is called Bookish.  I've also used the wonderful new Shapeology die from August's release called Dragonfly border and also the sentiment which is from the collection called Everyday Honeycomb.

The Gangs All Here!


Hi Everyone! It's Shannah here today to share some Whimsy Inspiration for you!

This is another image from our fabulous Whimsy Stamps July Release, called "The Gangs All Here"
by Crissy Armstrong. How cute are all these happy little faces? Crissy really is the Queen of cute animal stamps!

 
The image is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Ink, and coloured with Copics, The background is sponged with Distress Inks for a softer look. I liked the 'barn-like' feel of the red paneled paper, and the country tones of the red and yellow floral. And of course gingham ribbon makes anything look a bit quaint and country!

 
I popped the image up on mounted foam and framed it with Lacey Nestabilities, so they look like they are peeking out of the card ;)  (You can find more details about my card including Copic colours on my blog Embellished ExpresShan's.)
