A little Cottage Cutie and a little Wee Bunny and Chick

Hi Whimsy fans and thanks so much for visiting Whimsy's Inspirations blog today!

Ellie here, and I am so excited to share a couple of cards with you today! Those of you that followed our recent Elisabeth Bell for Whimsy Stamps special release probably recently saw this first card, but since it's my recent favorite I wanted to share it here on this blog too!

I used the stamp "Picked sweet" by Elisabeth Bell, and I have to say that this was my most favorite of the 4 newly released stamps.

I colored her with Faber Castell Polychromos pencils.
The beautiful paper is from the 6x6 paper pack "Madeline" by Prima.

I embellished with some prima flowers, flourishes, which were done with Whimsy's "vines"shapeology die set (which I absolutely love and use all the time!). The fence was done with a Martha Stewart punch.

Below is another recent favorite card that I made using Whimsy's Easter Bunny by Sylvia Zet.

Again, I used my Faber Castell Polychromos for coloring.

The paper is by My Mind's Eye. I embellished with some die cut flowers and brads, a little ribbon and of course I had to use the gorgeous "vines" die again.

For the sentiment I used the blank mini tickets which you can find in the sets "Celebration Mini Tickets" and "Love Mini Tickets". I cut them out using the mini ticket shapeology die.
The "Happy Easter" inside the tickets was computer generated.

I hope you liked today's cards, and thanks again for stopping by!

Enjoy your day!

  4. Both cards are precious. I commented on the top one during the hop, so I'll focus on that cute Easter Bunny card this time. Great colors. I love the sentiments on the tickets as well as the stitching. Fabulous job coloring that cute image, too!
