It's Friday on the Whimsy blog and that means it's time for Fresh Friday where we take a look at a collection of products that change out every two weeks and give you some fresh inspiration.

Design team member Lisa is on hand with the most adorable rainbow cupcake card using the Calories Schmalories stamp set. We love the split panel she has created using one of the Wavy Edgers dies. The Birthday word & Shadow die pairs perfectly with the smaller sentiments from the Calories Schmalories set.

Sue has a super fun circle shaped card that she's created using the Pierced and Stitched Circles die collection. We love the background with the Sprinkles stencil. The cupcake from Calories Schmalories looks absolutely delicious and the fun birthday die cut from the Birthday Word and Shadow die collection finishes off this fun card nicely.

Hey, crafty friends!  It's Sandra with you again, showing you a bright, tropical card today.

According to the current situation, I thought it would be great to get some summerly, vacation feeling with such a card.
The Aqua Breeze Digital Paper was perfect for my background and the Twinkle Stencil used with Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry let the card shine and twinkle a bit more.

I colored up the cute penguin from Penguin Life´s A Beach Clear Stamp Set with my Copic Markers and glued him to an already die cut Basic Stitched Oval. 

I also use the "Life´s a Beach" sentiment from that stamp set.

To make the card look way more tropical, I die cut 2 hibiscus flowers, some palm leaves, a hammock island with palm trees and a sun and colored them also up with my Copic Markers.

In the end I stamped the sentiment "Hey there" from Bold Statements Clear Stamp Set and stuck it on the card.

I hope that I put a smile on your faces with my card today

Technique Tuesday - Cute Cacti Colour Along

Hi Everyone, it's Faye here today :)

Did you see the Cute Cactus Stamp Set, matching dies and papers released last week? Like you, I get excited about new stuff, so I thought I would share my colouring process as I play with one of the images from this set today. 

Ready? Let's go then!

My light source is coming from the top left, and, because I know I am going to die cut the image when I have finished with it, I have stamped it in black ink on a scrap of paper. I love using something from my bag of scrap card, but it has made a naughty little line at the top of all my scans, sorry about that. Most of the time when I colour, I lay down my medium tone first, to plan where my shading will be. But sometimes, I pull up my pants and just go for it...
