Special Guest - Stephanie Davis

Hello everyone!  I'm thrilled to be a guest designer this month for Whimsy Stamps!  Candy Corn Dress Up Stamp set is so adorable, I had to play with it again!

Today I'm sharing a hidden shaker card.  You can't see it's a shaker card, until you shake it.

To create this card, first I blended Distress Oxides to create my background.  I love the bright green Twisted Citron; I think it looks so pretty in the background!  Then I stamped and embossed the background with the Spiderweb Frame Stamp.   I splattered the background with Gouache.  I set the background aside to dry and cut my card panel out of purple cardstock.  Next I blended Distress Oxide ink around the edges to make it look like a night sky and splattered with Gouache.  Then I colored the images from Candy Corn Dress Up stamp set with Copic markers.  I popped the mummy candy corn image on a foam square.  I positioned him to have his foot in the air, so the sentiment would fit.  I adhered the other two images to the front of the card.  Then I stamped the sentiment using Candy Corn Dress Up Stamp set and You're My Boo Stamp set to complete the card.

Thanks so much for joining me!  Have a great week!!

Happy, Colorful, Fall!

Hi friends!
Hope you are having a great weekend!
I have a new card using Whimsy Stamp's new Falling Leaves Background stamp.  I stamped it with Versamark and heat embossed it in white.  I used my Zig Clean Color markers.  I decided a non traditional color scheme, as I think I am still a bit in "summer mode." I added a few water colored leaves from the Build-a-Pumpkin-Patch set.   I added a strip of white card stock, ribbon, leaves and a few gold sequins. I layered everything using Crafty foam tape.
The sentiment was cut using the Bold ABC Die set and a happy die. I added Stickles to the word, Fall for added sparkle.
Thanks so much for visiting today!

Dracula Goes Batty

Happy Wednesday! This is Jeanette and I have a Halloween card to share with you!

Whimsy Stamps have such a vast array of Halloween themed products and I love how they all play with each other! My card was made using two of the new dies:

This card was made in such a short amount of time! I die cut the Arched Window Die out of black cardstock and out of Bristol smooth cardstock. I then added some Distress inks to the panels cut out of the Bristol, distressed them with a bit of water and then popped them into the black frame.  The Dracula goes Batty Die Set was die cut out of black cardstock and then adhered to the panels. The whole thing was mounted onto an A2 sized cardbase and I was DONE!
