31 Nights of Halloween - Night 23

Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year.

My neighbors used to give me grief for decorating so much for the season.

But seriously, how many times can you use your artistic talents to color yourself and your family and get away with it.

I am superrrrr excited to share my project today during the 31 Nights of Halloween.

I've used one of the most amazing, fun, creepy sets called Creepy Clowns

Yes, I said Creepy Clowns!!!

And they are FABULOUS!!!

I've used the perfect background stamp called 

Web Background

Today's products are from the super talented artists Deb Davis aka Amped2Stamp and Jenn Dove aka DoveArt Studios.

Confession time: I am terrified of clowns. 

This really and truly was therapy and normally, I would never even think of doing a clown but I LOVE this set. I had to. The clown made me do it.

I honest to goodness pulled up penny wise from It to reference. 

He wasn't that bad lol. Not that I've completely conquered my fear but I pre-psyched myself up for it.

I masked my clown off with masking film. 

Next I stamped off the Web background and using purples and grey copics, I began to weave my web.

Finally, with an embossing pen I went over the white line and dusted them with holographic embossing powder

If you haven't noticed I absolutely LOVE HALLOWEEN, every single thing Halloween, from cute to creepy and everything in between! 

Today I'm sharing an interactive card using one of the Creepy Clowns from this (super) popular set. Who knew there were so many Creepy Clown fans out there! 

I stamped the background with the super cool Web Background from DoveArt.  

I colored the Creepy Clown with Copic markers and fussy cut him out. Then I stamped him a second time, colored and cut out just his head (do you like his ugly yellow teeth - yuck!)

I put his head on the action wobble and added a red pompom for his nose and some gems on his hat

The black tag behind him is from the new Tombstone Tags die set

For today's card I used the Dracula Bite Me Clear Stamps, it has two images and a bunch of funny sayings!  I used the Dracula and the WTF  What the Fang stamp, I inked each line separately so each line could be stamped on a strip of red paper.   

Dracula and the bats were die cut using the Dracula Bite Me Die Set.

The tree was die cut using the Sleepy Hollow Die Set.

If you have a friend with a birthday in October ( or really any month) and who has a good sense of humor, this is a great sentiment!  I used the Frankenstein Schmutz stamp set and the matching Frankenstein Schmutz Dies from Whimsy Stamps.

The white lightning bolt clouds were stamped with VersaMark ink and embossed with white embossing powder.  The black lightning bolt cloud was stamped with Onyx Black VersaFine Ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.  The sentiment was stamped with Radiant Neon Electric Orange ink.
