31 Nights of Halloween - Night 3 - Special Guest Ginny Nemchak

Good evening, Whimsy friends!  Tonight we welcome the fabulous Ginny Nemchak to the blog.  She is sure to delight you with her gorgeous creation.

Ginny used the adorable Got Peepers stamp set.  Could those kitties with their big eyes be any cuter?!  She paired them with some fun Hocus Pocus paper and a sentiment from You're My Boo.  For her background she used Distress Inks and Oxides and embellished her card with flowers, ribbon, twine, and a bit of holiday-inspired netting.

31 Nights of Halloween - Night 14 + GIVEAWAY

Hello, crafty friends!  Rachel here and welcome to night 14 of our 31 Nights of Halloween Event!  There are over $350 in prizes to be won throughout this month long celebration.   Make sure you scroll down to the bottom of this post to enter the GIVEAWAY below! (Affiliated links used.)

My card today features the new Got Peepers Clear Stamps Set combined with the Slimline Marquee Die.  I created a slimline card today cut to 8.5" x 3.5".  To start, I first blended some Distress Oxide Inks (Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, and Black Soot) onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock.  Once blended, I then splattered this piece lightly with water and blotted the excess dry with a paper towel.

I also splattered my background with some diluted Opaque White and Black Paints for some added interest.  To create the shaker portion of my card, I diecut a piece of white card stock using the Slimline Marquee Die and then blended it with some Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink.  Once this panel was dry, I then adhered clear acetate behind each window with some strong liquid adhesive.

I then stamped my sentiment in black ink after aligning it to where I could see if through one of my windows. Next, I added some 3D Foam Adhesive Tape behind my slimline panel and added some sequins and black and green seed beads for my embellishments.  I love the contrast that these embellishments add to the card.

Lastly, I added all of my images with some 3D Foam Adhesive Squares to give some added dimension.  I had stamped all of my  images onto a separate piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb card stock with black ink and colored them with Copics.  I used my Brother ScanN Cut to cut them out.
