Special Guest - Oliver Gleason

Hi, Whimsy friends!  Today we welcome the talented Oliver Gleason back to the blog!

This is what Oliver had to say about this card, "For this card I wanted to keep it winter themed but couldn’t resist some spooky too!"  I think he nailed it, don't you?!
To create this card, Oliver paired one of the Gossip Holiday Girls with the Build-a-Graveyard Dies and Grave Epitaphs stamp set.

For his background Oliver stamped the Goth Skulls Background and matted it with black cardstock.  He trimmed down a paper from the Blurry Flurries pack, matted it and adhered it on top.

Using the Build-a-Graveyard Dies, Oliver die-cut the gravestones and fence.  He added sentiments to the gravestones with the Grave Epitaphs set.  He stamped the girl from Gossip Holiday Girls and colored her with alcohol markers.

He adhered his elements with foam tape and added a die-cut border at the bottom.  He finished with a sentiment from Gossip Holiday Girls and a scattering of pearls.

Thank you, Oliver, for this fun, inspiring card!  To see more of Oliver's work, be sure to check him out on Instagram.

Special Guest - Oliver Gleason

Hello, Whimsy friends!  This month we welcome the talented Oliver Gleason to the Whimsy blog!

Oliver used the Gossip Holiday Girls for this fun and colorful card!  He colored the images with alcohol markers and cut them out.

He used the Blurry Flurries Paper Pack for his backgrounds and framed the images with die-cuts created with the Selfie Die Set.  He adhered the images to the background papers with foam tape and then attached the frames with two layers of foam tape.  He affixed the framed images to the card with varying amounts of dimensional adhesive.

He white heat-embossed two of the sentiments from Gossip Holiday Girls, trimmed them into banners, and adhered the banners to the card.

Thanks, Oliver, for this wonderful inspiration!
