Over the next 3 days we will reveal the new August 2014 Clearly Whimsy Stamps products. We are releasing 3 new clear stamp sets and 4 coordinating die/die sets this week, and they will be available to buy from the Whimsy Stamps store today and selected Whimsy Stamps retailers on Saturday.

This month we are thrilled to welcome Iris Wiechmann as our Guest Designer. Iris will be joining us for our 3 day release event and sharing her wonderful creations featuring our August release. Welcome Iris!

Kicking up Leaves

Good morning everyone!  I hope you've had a wonderful week and found some time to do some crafting and coloring.  It's my turn (Shelby) to, hopefully, give you a little bit of inspiration for the day.

This fabuloso stamp is by Crissy Armstrong and is called Kicking up Leaves.  Don't they just make for the most perfect Fall scene?  The sentiment and coordinating die cut are from Raindrop Echo Designs is called Pumpkin Sentiments.

This adorable pair have been colored up with a variety of alcohol based markers and a touch of colored pencils.

I just couldn't wait to ink up this new stamp from Whimsy Stamps, A Girl and Her Pumpkin by Crissy Armstrong!! My favorite season is autumn so this is sure to be a favorite stamp!!

Cozy Cardi!

Hi Everyone! It's Shannah here today to share some Whimsy Inspiration with you!

For this project, I inked up the sweet new image from Time 4 Tea Designs called 'Cozy Cardi'. I also used a sentiment from the new 'Chalkboards 2' set from  SC Designs.

I stamped the image and sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Ink, coloured the image with Copicmarkers, and sponged around both pieces with Distress Ink.



The papers are from Basic Grey 'Pyrus' 6 x 6 paper pad, and I only had small pieces left so arranged them in a pattern with wide lace covering where they didn't quite meet! (cheeky I know!)

  

I framed the image and sentiment with Nestabilities Romantic Rectangles and attached with mounting foam. To finish I embellished with some roses and pearls.

Autumn Owl

Good Morning Whimsy Fans and thanks for stopping by!

Ellie  here today, it's my turn to share a little Whimsy Inspiration with you. If you have followed our recent blog hops, then you might remember seeing this card.

  The background was made using watercolor paints. The owl image was stamped twice, once onto my watercolored background, and once onto copic blending card. I used a black micron pen to extend the fence. Moon was masked off using a 1" punched out circle.

Picked Sweet Summer Song

Hello Whimsy Fans, today I'd like to show you a card I made using one of the newly release stamps called  "Picked Sweet Summer Song" by Elisabeth Bell.

The sentiment is from the Whimsy Stamps 'Mini Chalkboard' sentiments by SC Design. Papers are from Bo Bunny (Autumn Serenity) and the die cut butterfly is a Whimsy Shapeology die from the Elegant Butterflies die set.

The sweet image was colored using Copics and Graph It markers.
