Whimsy Sunflower Buggies

Good Morning Whimsy Fans!

Ellie here, it's my turn to share a Whimsy card with you today! I hope you like it.This was  my favorite card that I made for last month's release. I used the stamp "Sunflower buggies" from Whimsy's Meljen's designs. I just love this stamp!! One of my favorite from Meljens.

I used Memento tuxedo ink to stamp the image on Neenah card stock. It's been colored  using my Faber Castell Polychromos pencils.   Of course the sentiment is also from Whimsy Stamps, from an older set called "mini party letter seals",and  the little tabs that are peeking out from behind the sentiment on the top, and also on the bottom right were made using a stamp from the new set "Everyday Sayings Notables 4", and was cut out using the notables 4 die.

It is a pretty simple card, I used simple printed papers to keep the focus on the gorgeous stamp.  Added the little button with some twine and then sewed the edges. As you can see in the photo, the sunflower was stamped twice and then cut out once. I used my fingers to curl up the petals a little bit.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hope you have a wonderful day!!
