October Release Countdown Day 2

Welcome Whimsy fans to Day 2 of the October release. We have lots more goodies to share with you today.  Just a reminder that all the new goodies that are being shown this week will be available in the store starting October 7th.

In our clear line, we are introducing the gorgeous Snow Flurry background, a large 6x6 red rubber image, Snow Flurries and Snow dies.

31 Nights of Halloween - Night 1

Welcome to the kickoff of Whimsy Stamps' 31 Nights of Halloween event taking place the whole month of October! Stop here at the Whimsy Blog at 6pm every night for more Halloween inspiration and prizes!

I pulled out a few stamps and dies to make this:

I stamped the zombie (If I Only Had a Brain) in eggplant ink repeatedly (without re-inking) on a white panel cut using Hand-stitched Rectangles.  I used stamps from Vintage Backgrounds right on top of zombie man in orange ink.  I adhered that panel to a kraft base, then added an orange strip with the sentiment (Joe Zombie) and purple strips cut with Pierced Border Trio dies. I stamped and cut out a word bubble, and added the word "Brains" to it (If I Only Had a Brain).  I cut the hand from Zombie Trio dies, added some Vintage Background to it, and adhered it coming up to grab you!  I added a button/twine treatment to finish it up.

October Release Countdown Day 1

Good morning Whimsy fans. It's time for the new October release. Each month from the 1st through the 5th, we will be introducing a few new sets from both the rubber and clear line as well as showing you some great inspiration from our ever so fabulous design team. On the 6th of each month, we will be showing additional inspiration from the design team to help you make your final list of goodies needed.

Then on the 7th, everything will be available to purchase in the store. Let's get started for today.
