DT Call - Newsletter Designer

Hello Whimsy Friends!

Whimsy Stamps is looking to add one new person to our design team! We are searching for a newsletter designer who can help us with a weekly Inspirations Newsletter for our customers.

This person needs to be well organized, crafty, and willing to try new things. This design team position will entail creating one project per week using Whimsy Stamps products. Each weekly project must include either a tutorial, quick tip, or how to. These projects need to be well photographed and include multiple photos and text to explain to our readers how the project was created. 

Our goal is to inspire our readers and customers and share some fun crafty tips and tutorials. As a newsletter designer, the benefits will include 4 rubber image stamps and 1 rubber sentiment set and 1 Shapeology metal die per new monthly release as well as access to digital images, sentiments, papers, and Shape EZ templates.

Happy 2013 Whimsy and Shape EZ fans!

Happy 2013 Everyone! Whimsy Release Review!

There's a lot to celebrate today over at the Whimsy Stamps Inspirations Blog!  Including a guest designer announcement and loads of projects from the talented design team.

In 2012 my experience has been a whirl wind of excitement, challenge and an honest attempt to expand my creativity.  All of the Shapeology die designs, the Shape EZ templates, and the wonderful rubber I've been blessed to color up have made 2012 the experience of a life time!  I would only wish that in 2013 I am able to match or maybe even exceed it.  I am eternally grateful for all of my wonderful followers and for Whimsy Stamps!  Without both of you, my year couldn't been the same.  Happy New Year to all and may you all be blessed!

Bella's Love Letter

Good morning Whimsy Fans!

It's Ellie here, time for me to share a Whimsy creation with you all! Hope you like it!
I made this card for one of the Challenge Blogs I am designing for, using the gorgeous stamp
Bella Sole Love Letters from Whimsy's Elisabeth Bell collection.



The keys on the left side were die cut using Whimsy's "Lock and Key" die set. I used some twine to tie the two keys together.
My card looked a little blank on the right side, so I decided to ink up one of the stamps from the set "Lavish Flourishes", and then I stamped one of the postmarks from the set "Vintage Travel postage stamps".

The background and red card stock were embossed using some cuttlebug embossing folders. The sky and grass were inked using a blending tool.
