Sylvia Zet's wee magical images

I remember first time noticing Sylvia Zets images on the web, going "aaaahhhhhh" and writing to Denise right away gushing about how cute those images were and how it would be real cool if Whimsy had them in rubber...

Well, now we DO! Six new red rubber stamps were released last week - just LOOK how gorgeous they are!!

I used Silver Fairy on this card- isn't she just delightfully charming and serene!  I also used Winter Letter Seals set.

I am using a Winter Fairy on my card - I stamped her in gray Versafine ink and coloured with watercolours keeping it very soft. The papers are old Christmas papers from OA and Papermania, all brushed with white acrylic paint and sprinkled with a bit of aqua glitter while the paint was still wet. The filigree corners and medallion are a chipboard by Make It Crafty.

The sentiment is from Peace On Earth set.

And here is my take on Autumn Happiness - plenty of mucking with watercolours for sure!! I have to say my hubby loved the coloured-up image so I don't really know if I should be real happy or slightly alarmed, lol.

Watch the leaves turn...

Hi Whimsy Fans!!

Ellie here! I hope you have been enjoying the blog hop to celebrate the release of the gorgeous Wee Stamps in Rubber! If you haven't hopped yet, click this link to find out the hopping order. Today I am showing you a card I made for the September Release using Crissy Armstrong's "Pum-Kinnie Fairy" and Raindropecho's "Autumn Letter Seals".


"Even if something is left undone,
everyone must take time to sit still
and watch the leaves turn".

Isn't that sentiment just perfect for the little fairy sitting on the pumpkin surrounded by leaves!!

The image has been stamped with memento tuxedo black ink, and then colored with derwent coloursoft pencils and copics for the skin.

I used papers from DCWV (harvest stack), Stampin up and Neenah. Embellished lightly with a prima flower some swirls and machine sewing. And then of course Pum Kinnie fairy wasn't complete without adding some sparkle to her wings.
