High on Love!


Hello Whimsy Fans, Iris here! Today I like to show you two of my recent Whimsy creations. On my first card I used one of the new Whimsy April rubber stamps called 'Come Fly With Me' by Crissy Armstrong.

I colored this time using Distress Inks (stamped on hot pressed watercolor paper 140lbs/300g with Archival Ink) DP is from my stash unfortunately I don't know the brand. Flowers are Whimsy Buds, Magnolia and Prima. The sentiment next to the image is the one which comes with the stamp. The postage stamp is from the Everyday Mini Postage Stamps and cut out using the matching Mini Postage Die. Border punch is from EK Success. Decorative pin is selfmade and all other embellies are from my stash.

My second card uses also an image from Crissy's collection called 'Celebrate Big'.

This time I colored on kraft cardstock using Prisma pencils. To blend the colors I used dry paper stumps. DP is from Basic Grey's Marakech collection. Both the Calendar stamp and the Birthday Seal sentiment are from Whimsy as well. As it is a 'men's card' I just used a few buttons, twine and a large flower for decorations.

Design Team Call - NOW OPEN

Whimsy Stamps is also holding a Design Team call from now until May 15th. We are looking for some talented crafters to join our Digital Stamp DT and help us showcase our growing digital stamp collections.

Each Digi Team Designer is asked to...
* share one project per week on his/her blog (applicants must have a blog),
* participate in our monthly releases and blog hop,
* become a member of our Yahoo group,
* share your artwork on our Facebook Fan page, Whimsy Blog, and any other online community you belong to,
* promote Whimsy Stamps by using our images, mentioning Whimsy news and promotions, and linking to our shop.

In exchange for DT work and helping to promote our products...
* members will have access to our digital stamps for use in weekly DT projects,
* members will receive a DT discount of 20% off, on all Whimsy shop purchases, while a member of our team,

Whimsy Stamps May Digi Hop
