Frosty Greetings


Hello Whimsy Friends! Today it's my turn to post here on the blog and I have some frosty greetings for you! :-)
Let it snow .... well not yet, LOL but on my card it's already winter :-) And it's also the name of this cute image from Whimsy's Wee Stamps collection. This is also one of my published cards in Whimsy's Inspirational Magazine Issue #9, which is the most recent issue. Now available in print! A smaller digital version is available for free.
I colored the image using Copics and Touch Twin's. DP is from an older Bo Bunny collection. The sentiment on the banner (banner is from Spellbinders) is from Ann's Winter Letter Seals and the small circle postage sentiment is a Whimsy freebie (the ones Denise includes for free with orders ;-) ). The Snowflakes are die cuts using Whimsy's Shapeology 'Layered Snowflake' dies and Spellbinders Snowflakes dies. Flowers are from my stash and the white rose was dipped in coarse glass glitter to get a sugared effect. Other embellies used: gauze, lace, large snowflake ornament, button, pearls and rhinestones, Stickles, Snowtex and Gesso.
I also decorated the inside of the card. The sentiment is also from the Winter Letter Seals.

Somewhere Among the Stars!


Hi there Whimsy Fans!!  It's Tammy Louise here to share another template today that is available in the Whimsy Stamps Store. 
Today's project was made with the Shape EZ new Spangled Star template and I wanted to show you just how diverse it could be!  It comes in 300dpi SVG,JPEG,PNG and PDF files and can be found today in the Whimsy Stamps Store.  The new image from Kenny K "Sweet Melissa" is so gorgeous, I couldn't resist putting her together with one of my favorite colors ORANGE!  I've grabbed some odds and ends, beads, sentiments and pearls to finish her off! All the extras are on my blog.

Li'l Montana

Good  morning everyone! Hope you're all doing good and enjoying your summer!

Ellie here today, it's my turn to show you a Whimsy card today. I made this one for last month's release.



I used one of Elisabeth Bell's new stamps from the Whimsy Stamps July release, Li'l Montana. Isn't she gorgeous?? I colored her with my Faber Castell Polychromos and cut her out.

The fence die is also from Whimsy stamps, picket fence die , as is the sentiment that I used. It's from the set "Everyday Sayings Notables 4".
If you look really close then you will see some flourishes stamped around the sky part. It's a stamp from Whimsy's set  "Lavish Flourishes".

The grass was done using a punch by MS. I thought there needed to be some cute butterflies too, so I punched some out (MS punch again), and added them with a little rhinestone in the center.

Added the sentiment with some twine and an eyelet, and did some sewing to finish it off. 

I hope you liked my card, I surely loved creating it!!
