Hello Sweetie - A Copic Colored Card

Hello everyone, Melissa here and I'm excited to share a card with you today.  I colored this fairy named Sweetie from Sylvia Zet while at the Whimsy Stamps Retreat with the wonderfully creative and talented Faye.  It was wonderful to sit with a friend I've known for years but had never met in person.

After coloring this beauty with Copics, I cut her out with the Basic Stitched Ovals Die.  I simply stamped the hello from the Fly By clear stamp set in Nocturne Versafine Clair.  I also added a few gold accents with irRESISTable Pico, bling and finally a white sheer bow.

31 Nights of Halloween - Night 21 & Giveaway

Welcome to Day 21 of the Whimsy Halloween Celebrations!

Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend so far! It's Iris here today and I want to share a card with you where I used one of Whimsy's older Halloween Stamps. It's a Wee Stamp illustrated by Sylvia Zet and called Batty Boo. This is one of my favorite Halloween images of all times. I think it is stinkin' cute! Who can resist these little bats with their smooshy faces?

I colored the image with Copics and pencils using the no-lines technique. The background was created using a Tim Holtz Stencil (I think it's called 'Crackle') and Distress Ink  Tumbled Glass. The sentiment is from the 'Dracula I Compel You' clear set and stamped with Versafine black ink onto vellum paper.
I also clear embossed the sentiment to keep it from smearing.
I stamped  some of the bats included with the 'Dracula I Compel You' set onto the background panel. To give it even more dimension I as well die cut some bats from black cardstock with the matching Dracula I Compel You Die set.  The vellum paper strip was then layered on to the background panel. I fuzzy cut the image and added it with some foam tape on top of the vellum strip. To embellish and add some 'Bling' to my card I used  sequins and orange enamel dots from the Summer Breeze enamel dots set.

A little Hope

Good Morning Whimsy friends I hope you have all

Beau & Bashful

Hey everyone! Jessie here today with my first ever post on the Whimsy Stamps blog! I can not tell you how thrilled I am to be a part of this fantastic team! 

I coloured up Beau & Bashful with my copic markers, giving these two lovely rainbow manes and tails! Once I created the super clean card base I added a little bit of twine and some of the Summer Breeze enamel dots. A giant hello chipboard piece from my stash finished it off!

Wee Mistletoe Fairy

Hiya, Bev here with a Christmas card using Mistletoe Fairy from the  Whimsy Stamps release.  I also used the Big Balloon Celebrations sentiments and die set.  Although this is a Christmas stamp, I think it could be used all the year round by just changing up the colour of the berries.

Morning, I’m sharing a card I made using the oh so adorable Wee Oak Tree Girl – isn’t she just a little love?

Have you seen the new Whimsy Stamps release?  OMW this little cutie Lullaby by Sylvia Zet is just the sweetest little girl.  Yup, I’m in love!
