Designer Spotlight - Faye

Hello Whimsy fans. We are excited to bring to you another Designer Spotlight. Designer Faye Wynn-Jones has been with Whimsy several years and you might know her as a Copic extraordinaire. She teaches coloring regularly and is a fan favorite at past Whimsy Stamps retreats. Faye also is an illustrator for Whimsy Stamps with her FaDoodle lineup, seen here.

Faye describes herself as a wife, mum, chocolate lover, daydreamer and coloring enthusiast. You will find her with at least one cat nearby and probably a biscuit as she has a serious sweet tooth. Please click the links below to be taken to Faye's social media platforms.

Here, she has created the perfect card to give to someone who might be struggling or who just needs a laugh. The What the Cluck stamp set is just too cute.

The Sending Sunshine stamp pairs perfectly with the Grass Frames die set.

Here, Faye has used her own FaDoodle Flowers stamp set along with the Big Hugs Word die for this card.

The large floral image from the Bees Knees set looks amazing with some no-line coloring.

The Slimline Shamrocks Background die looks amazing over the Rainbow Magic slimline paper and is the perfect backdrop for the cute image from the Unicorn Kisses stamp set.

Good morning everyone! We are adding a new feature to the Whimsy Stamps blog, a designer spotlight.

For our first post, we are excited to be showcasing the amazing work of Lisa Mensing. In case you didn't know, Lisa spearheads the Whimsy Stamps YouTube channel, is part of the Whimsy Stamps admin team, and is a force to be reckoned with. Here is some inspiration from Lisa.

First off, we have two cards using the gorgeous A2 Floral hot foil plate along with other fun products in the shop. All details found here on Lisa's blog.

This card is stunning with the coloring and paint splatters and features the Heart Border Cling Stamp and Die Combo. More details can be found here.

Next up is two cards using the beautiful Flower Wishes stamp set. Details are here.

This fun card features the Sending Sunshine stamp set.

And she's created a matching envelope for her card using the awesome Slimline Envelope Builder die set.

Lastly, Lisa has this beauty on her blog using the Beaucoup Bouquet stamp set and has done some no-line coloring. The results are absolutely breathtaking.

Product Close-up: Butterflies Hot Foil Plates

The Butterflies hot foil plates were released a few weeks ago and have already become a designer and fan favorite. Here is inspiration from 6 of our designers showcasing these beautiful foil plates. As you can see, they look gorgeous foiled in all sorts of colors.

The Butterflies outline die set in the shop cut out all 4 of the hot foil plates perfectly and are a great addition to the foil plates.

And while you're shopping for foil plates, don't forget to pick up some hot foil rolls, now available in the shop.

Video Inspiration - NEW MINI SLIMLINE DIE SET | TRI FOLD

Lisa is demonstrating the new Mini Slimline die set in this video. This die cuts out a mini slimline card base that is 6"h x 9"w, and also embosses the fold lines, so you can create a card base quickly and easily. It also cuts out the large circles with a clean line and the smaller circles with stitching. There are four medallions included that can easily be inserted into the circle cutouts.
