 I kept my card very CAS because this is such a cute image.

Interactive Card

Hello everyone!! I'm Ellen and super happy to be a new clear design team member. Today I like to show you my first blogpost; a tutorial to make an interactive card.

1. First I started with creating a focal point, a folded heart (Whimsy product: Sketched Elephants Dies). To make it, you need to fold a piece of paper and lay the heartdie so that the die overhangs the folded edge.

2. The next step is to punch out two small holes in the heart and distress ink the background at the outside and inside.

3. Let's start decorating! To give the heart again a pointy end, I've die cut a piece of the heart 2x (one for the front, one for the inside) and colored it so it looked like grass. After that I made my scene with critters, the tree and stamped my texts (Whimsy products: Hedgehugs & Handmade From Me)

4. The last step was to make my card base.

This is how it looks with a little gold bow and sequins:

 
When the card is open, your recipient get's an unexpected nice message:

Welcome Baby: Little Lion

 

Hello Crafters!

 

 

It's Kelly here and I'm sharing a simple baby card with you today. I don't know why Spring always makes me think of new babies. maybe it's because my son was born in May? 

 

My co-worker has a recent new addition to his family so I was looking to create a card to go with his gift.

 

 

I knew this cute Little Lion from Lee Holland would be perfect to celebrate this sweet boy's birth.

 

I put together a video for you guys so you can watch it all come together.

 

 

I love how oversized and loveable this guy is!

'Spring is coming'.....Well it's here now...kind of.....

Hello Whimsy friends!! Cindy here today to share with you.  I know Spring is officially here but I know in some places it doesn't feel that way!! 

For the card today I used a new image from Wee Stamps 'Jenny'. 

I stamped her on watercolor paper and colored her with my Distress Markers. The sentiment I just printed off my computer.

I love the whimsical feel to Elisabeth Bell’s images, and Honey Little Spring Helper is no exception.  This is one of the new stamps from the latest Whimsy Stamps release.

I went with a scalloped round shape for a change.

Hi Everyone!

It's Shannah here today to share some Whimsy Inspiration with you!

My card today features the adorable 'Cindy' from Wee Stamps. Isn't she an absolute sweetheart?! I have also used the 'Notables 2 Die' and the sentiment is from the 'Julian & Friends' stamp set. All of these items are available at Whimsy Stamps.

The image is stamped in Momento Tuxedo ink and coloured with Copic markers, then die cut and mounted onto the card. I highlighted some parts of the image with Liquid Pearls.
