Angel Ariel

Hello everyone!  Rachel here today and I have a card to share with you featuring the beautiful Angel Ariel Rubber Stamp. (Affiliate links used.)

I wanted Angel Ariel to be the main focal point, so I went with a simple design today and created a single-layer card except for the addition of the gorgeous large stitched frame from the Shaker Maker Combo Die Set.

I stamped my image with Copic friendly Black Ink using my Misti.  I then used my Copic Sketch Markers to color everything.

Copic Colors Used:
  • Skin: E0000, E000, E21, E11, E04
  • Hair: E40, E42, E43, E44
  • Pink Skirt: RV0000, RV00, RV52, RV55, RV66, RV69
  • Purple Top: V000, V01, V04, V06, V09
  • Background Sky: BG0000, BG000, BG01
  • Ground: W00, W0, W1, W2, W3
  • Wings: 0, C00, C1, C3, C4

I stamped my sentiment from the "Splash" Clear Stamps Set on the bottom right corner of my card.  Lastly, I diecut my stitched frame from White Card Stock using the large square die from the Shaker Maker Combo Die Set.  I used liquid adhesive to adhere this piece to the outer portion of my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  You can check out this beautiful stamp in the photo links below.

Angel Ariel

Happy Monday! This is Jeanette and I have a card to share with you that features the very sweet Angel Ariel rubber stamp.  I kept this card very simple so that the image would shine! It was such a lovely image to color.  I love all the folds in her dress as well as all the layers in her hair.

I stamped the image onto Neenah Solar White Smooth Cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. This is my preferred combo when I am coloring with Copic Markers (I have listed the Copic Markers that I used below). Once the image was colored, I added some background color using  light grey and  light yellow prismacolor pencils.  This gave a nice soft effect to the card.

I created an A2 sized card-base using some bright red card-stock.  I thought it went nicely with the deeper tones in her dress. I then cut the card-stock with my colored imaged to measure 4.0" x 5.25".  This way I have a nice border with the card-base.  I scattered a few sequins to fill in some of the empty space and stamped a small sentiment up in the left-hand corner.  I then added some white high-lights onto the image using a white gel pen.

Copic Markers Used:
Skin: E000, E00, E11, R20, R30
Hair: YR30, YR31, YR24, E35
Dress: R30, R32, R35, R37, R39
Wings: 0, W00, W1, W3

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope this inspires you to create a Clean and Simple card using this gorgeous image!

Hi there, Bev here with a shabbyish card featuring the sweetest stamp from the March release by Whimsy Stamps.  This is Angel Ariel, I'm in total love with her!

I added a sentiment from the sweet   Bunny Balloons 2 stamp set.

I switched up the copic skin colours this time, and I really like this combo.

Skin: E04, E11, E01, E000, E20
Hair: E40, 42, 44
Wings: BV20, C3, 0
Dress: R35, 32, 20, 000
Flowers/Sandals: R29, 24, 22

I added to Tim Holtz Distress Glitter to the flowers and finished off with a little heart charm.  Those tiny white flowers are made from coffee filters.  So cute!
