Gingerbread Greetings!...
Hello everyone!
Sue here!
Sue here!
Today's card is sweeeeeet! - and involves gingerbread - so what's not to like!!! (;
I have used another of the
new release stamp sets,
I blended Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide over a piece of smooth Bristol Vellum Card and splattered it with water and white gesso. Then I die cut the card with the fabulous Slimline Marquee Die.
I die cut a piece of white glitter card with the same die and assembled the die cuts as shown placing the white card inside the Marquee Die apertures.
houses in a row along the Marquee Die. I stuck them down with Crafty Foam Tape so that the design didn't look too flat.
I stamped a sentiment from the Gingerbread Greetings Clear Stamp Set onto white card with black ink and die cut it with a Quick Strips Die.
I fixed the sentiment to the top left hand side of the card design.

Once the image was colored, I added Nuvo Glitter Drops (White Blizzard) to the trees and several areas of the snow. I die cut a border strip using the Kinetic Straight Basics Die Set, taping the bottom of the die on the edge of the paper. I used the tiny strip that would normally be waste and used it as my border to add some more visual image. I then used double sided 1/4" Scor-Tape directly above the border strip and attached the red ribbon. I popped up the center panel with double sided tape. The sentiment is from the Gingerbread Greetings Clear Stamp Set, and was also popped up with foam tape. Two white self adhesive backed pearls finish off the card.

Happy Winter - Tweetie Pie Clear Stamps
Tuesday, November 26, 2019
Hello, friends! It's Rachel here and I have a winter-themed card to share with you today that features the new Tweetie Pie Clear Stamps Set, illustrated by Deb Davis. (Affilated links used where applicable at no cost to you.)
To start, I first stamped my images with some Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I then used Copic Markers to color them and used my Brother ScanNCut Machine to cut them out.
Copic Colors Used:
- Reds: R05, R35, R37, R39, R59
- Browns: E40, E42, E43, E44, E47
- Blues: B0000, B000, B01, B04, B06
- Blue Greens: BG0000, BG01, BG02, BG05
For my background, I blended some Mermaid Lagoon and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Inks onto a piece of smooth white card stock. I used the new Rounded Rectangle Die Set to cut it out and then used this set again to create another layer with both some white card stock and also a piece of Kraft card stock for the base. I adhered all of my layers to my base and then added my images with some 3D Foam Adhesive Squares. Lastly, I heat embossed my sentiment to some dark blue card stock with Fine Detail White Embossing Powder and used my paper trimmer to trim each piece down to size.
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by! I hope you've enjoyed my card today! Wishing you all a wonderful day!
