I used this adorable rubber stamp from Sylvia Zet - Wishlist.

I colored the image using prismacolor pencils and then fussy cut it out.

I cut out some tags using the Stitched Tag dies and the window frame using a die from the Shaker Builder - Sweetest Birthday set. I used some vellum behind the frame to give it a more muted effect to the paper behind.

The sentiment is a new chipboard element from Whimsy Stamps - Christmas Adapt-a-words chipboard. These are super light and can be colored easily with pens.
The papers are from my stash, and I used white and black gel pens to add some stitching details.
I used some twine and bells to wrap around the frame and some enamel dots from the Christmas Cheer collection.

Thanks for looking.

I can't wait to see what you create.

Penguin Birthday - with Special Guest Michelle Short

Hello there, Michelle here and I am back with my second card as a guest for Whimsy Stamps. Today I am using the Penguin Birthday set, as well as the Everyday MiniSentiments set. Whimsy Stamps has lots of cute penguins for nearly every occasion anytime of the year...not just for the winter holidays.

I started off by stamping the penguin on to a piece of white cardstock that was cut using a stitched rectangle die. I then stamped the ‘happy birthday’ sentiment at the top, from the Everyday Mini Sentiments set. The panel was coloured using Copic Markers. It is a little difficult to see in the photos but I added colourless blender dots to the background to help with the birthday celebration theme.

The image panel was simply adhered to a white A2 card base with foam tape and then I added some shimmer to the present ribbon, hat and balloon with Wink of Stella. I also added Crystal Glaze to the balloon. Thanks so much for visiting the Whimsy Stamps Blog today and a big thank you goes to Denise, Deb and the team for having me guest with them. Have a great day!

Penguin Loves Bunny - with Special Guest Michelle Short

Hello there, Michelle here and I am delighted to be guest designing for Whimsy Stamps this month. My card today uses the super adorable Penguin Loves Bunny stampset, along with the Everyday Mini Sentiments set.

I started off by stamping the Penguin loves Bunny image on to white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The penguin and bunny were then coloured using Copic Markers. I fussy cut them out using scissors. I took a panel of white cardstock and cut this using a pierced square die. I sprayed on Blush Shimmer Spritz and set this aside to dry.

Once dry, I stamped the ‘hugs’ sentiment from the Everyday Mini Sentiments Set on to the panel with Archival Ink. This piece was added to a square card base with foam tape and then the image added on top with more foam tape. A simple card but I love that the focus is on the adorable image. Thanks so much for popping by today!

Penguin Loves Bunny  Everyday Mini Sentiments

Abstract Christmas by Deb Davis

I'm loving this Abstract Christmas tree stamp and all the sentiments it has with it.
There are countless combinations of holiday sayings you can create with this set.

I stamped the tree onto watercolor paper with versmark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  Using SU! reinkers I squeezed out a couple drops each of regal rose, gumball green and so saffron onto a palette to have them ready to go.  Then I spritzed the paper with plain water from a spray bottle and got it pretty wet.  Then I dipped a wet paint brush into one of the reinker colors and just touched it to the paper letting the ink float to wherever it wanted to.  Then did the same with the two other colors.  Once it was dry I hand cut the tree which was super easy to do because of the straight lines on this image

I stamped the sentiment that I wanted and cut each word out individually popping them up with foam tape.  The tree is also on foam tape.  To complete the card I added a bakers twin bow and a few sequins, then mounted it onto a pretty in pink card base.

All it took was ONE stamp set and a couple accessories (that you probably already have) to make this pretty pink Christmas card.
Head over to my blog and say hello sometime :) www.amped2stamp.com
