Wobbly Bird - Tuesday Tutorial with Sue

Hello everyone!

I'm here today with a tutorial for a really easy to put together interactive card!

Copic Markers - C00, C01, C03, YR24, Y38, Y13, Y11, YR09, YR04, YR12 

With White card create a 14.5cm x 11cm card blank and set it aside.  Create two white card rectangles the same size.  

With the Cloud Edger Die cut a cloud template and use it to blend tumbled glass distress ink clouds over both card rectangles. 

 With the Rectangle Frame die from the Shaker Maker set die cut one of the cloudy backgrounds. 

4.With the cloud edger die cut two pieces of vellum and trim them so that they will fit inside the top and the bottom of cloudy frame.  

Stamp the early bird with black ink and colour with markers.  (You can use pencils or paper piece the bird if you prefer).  Fussy cut the image and fix a Wobble Spring to the back.

With the largest cloud die from the Up In The Clouds Set die cut a piece of vellum and a piece of white card.  With black ink stamp the dare to soar sentiment in the centre of the card cloud.

With Nuvo glue fix the vellum clouds to the top and bottom of the cloudy background, placing them so that they will sit just inside the frame.  Fix the frame to the background with foam tape.  Fix the card design to the card blank set aside earlier.

Attach the die cut clouds and the early bird to the card design as shown and add some Nuvo Crystal Drops to finish.

Best Buddies

Hello Friends, I'm sharing a card using one of the sweetest stamp sets from the new Whimsy Stamps release - Best Buddies, perfect for cards for little lads and their doggies.

I coloured the image with Copic markers:

Hair: E29, 25, 50
Shirt: C3, 1, 0, 00
Jeans: B97, 95, 93, 91
Doggie: E35, 51, 50

I created the sky using a mask and Tumbled Glass distress ink.

 I kept it simple with a banner layer and some twine and Nuvo Crystal Drops to finish the card off.  I drop the Nuvo Drops onto freezer paper and leave overnight to dry then adhere them to the card with some liquid glue.  I find they are way more dimensional and even shaped doing them this way as opposed to straight from the bottle on to the card.

Only a few days left till Christmas and this will sadly be my last Christmas card of the year.

I've had such a blast creating with all the Holiday filled images.

For this card,

I've always been a big fan of Sylvia Zet and took this opportunity to play with one of her Christmas images. 

I colored up Candle Light Rubber Cling and distressed the edges; adding a backing with distressed edges as well

I cut out a couple of the pines from Evergreen Trees Die Set and frosted them with Nuvo Crystal Drops in Simply White.

Then I added the gate from Kinetic Curved Hills Die Set to finish off my back scene.

I added some pine cones frosted with the Nuvo Crystal and a couple of embellishments.

This last creation was a real festive joy.
