Special Guest - Candice Fisher - Bunny Balloons

I have to tell you, these bunnies from the Bunny Balloons stamp set are one of my all time favorites! They really go so well with the Fly By stamp set and if you haven't heard me all month raving about Deb Davis's collection at Whimsy Stamps you have to see her designs, they are fantastic!

I thought that these stamps are perfect for a baby card and created a simple and soft design using Whimsy Stamps products:

To start my card, I created a 5 x 6.5 card base from thick white cardstock. I then used my cameo silhouette to cut the striped overlay using the same thick white cardstock. Next, I used a circle die to cut through the overlay and die cut the stitched frame and circle to go behind also in the white cardstock. I stamped the sentiment directly onto the striped overlay using versafine black ink. I then stamped the gingham pattern using versamark and heat embossed in white. Next, I inked the whole background with scattered straw for a soft yellow.

For the ever adorable images, I stamped the bunny and extra balloons and airplane and clouds, colored with copic markers and fussy cut out. I also stamped the congrats onto the center circle. To put the card all together, I glued the stitched circle frame to the overlay and pop dotted the congrats circle and overlay onto the yellow gingham. I added all the adorable images with pop dots and for the final embellishments, I added a few enamel dots.

Special Guest - Candice Fisher - Panda Butt

I am absolutely in love with these pandas from the Panda Butt stamp set, just look at those cheeks (this stamp set has both kind of cheeks, hehe!) I love that the stamp sets from Deb Davis's collection at Whimsy Stamps take center stage and you really can keep your cards simple and showcase their cuteness!

This card was a quick one, but has a lot of detail that makes it look more advanced. Also, it helps that when coloring pandas, it's pretty basic and goes quickly! For this card, I used these Whimsy Stamps products:

To start my card, I created a 5 x 6.5 card base from thick white cardstock. I then die cut the hearts layover using dies, but you could also use your cameo or cricut too, using the same thick white cardstock as my base. Next, I stamped the gingham background using black versafine ink for a detailed black image. I used the same versafine to stamp the hugs sentiment and the hang in there sentiment. I then stamped the cutest panda ever & the bamboo, colored with copics, and fussy cut out, but you can get the coordinating dies to make it much easier!

To put it all together, I pop dotted the heart layover on the gingham piece and glued to the card above the sentiment. I added the panda and bamboo above the hugs. I felt the card needed a little more, and I added the banner. To create the banner, I heat embossed the take care panda bear with black, die cut the small banner, and inked with tattered rose. For my simple embellishments, I added some enamel dots in the color of the panda cheeks and banner. I can't tell you how much I love these stamp designs by Deb Davis, even my husband has commented how much he loves her stamp sets! You can always share your creations with us on Whimsy Stamps and Inspiration on Facebook and also join in the monthly challenge for your chance to win! Thank you again for visiting and will share one more card with you as Guest Designer for the month of May! Candice

Hugs Bunny - Special Guest - Anita Madden

Hello friends, I'm here today with another guest designer card for Whimsy Stamps.

These sweet images are from the Hugs Bunny stamp set.  These stamps could be used for so many different occasions ... I think it would be perfect to make a Father's Day card, which is just around the corner.  But I've used it to make a card that you could send to anyone just to let them know you're thinking of them.  I stamped the bear and bunny on Neenah cardstock and colored them with copics.  I used the Gingham Background stamp to create the pretty pattern on the bottom and then sponged some ink on the top of the card also.  I used a black glaze pen on the bear's and bunny's noses and applied Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen on the hearts.

Copics Used:
Bear - E31, E30, E50, R20, R30
Bunny - W2, W1, W0, R20, R30

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs, Anita
