Merging Images

HI All!

Hope you are doing well and enjoying the last few days of summer or winter if you are down under! I just wanted to pop over and share a glimpse at my creation in the new issue of Whimsy Stamps Inspirations Magazine.

There is a fabulous tutorial on how to merge rubber stamp images and digital images to create beautiful scenes. Our special guest Zoe McGrath of Make It Crafty created the tutorial and I have to say it was a challenge at first to get the hang of things, but the end result is worth all the effort! Zoe is very good at explaining things and shares tips and a beautiful creation of her own in the issue! And there are tons of gorgeous creations filling the pages on the magazine with more samples using this technique!

Here is a peek at my creation using two Make it Crafty digital image backgrounds, Daffodil Dell and Peaches of Plenty and then paired those with the rubber stamp Smell the Flowers from Whimsy Stamps.

Thanks for dropping by! On Thursday this week we will be releasing our monthly digis, so come on back and check it out! Have a great day!

June Release Rewind

Good Morning!

Hope you're having a good July! I can't quite believe July is already here! I've been so busy with the kids at home for summer vacation that I haven't had much time for crafting. So I have a couple of cards to share from the release we had last month. But before I get to that, I also wanted to remind you about Whimsy's summer digital sale taking place during the month of July! Customers can save 25% on all digital stamps across all digital collections, excluding the custom digital section. And we also have the Animals and Mythical rubber collections on sale while supplies last!

First up is a fun card. Here I used the new stamp "Bart's BBQ" from Crissy Armstrong and the new sentiments "Summer Letter Seals" and "The Good Life Tickets" designed by Ann Vento of Raindrop Echo Designs.

Next up is a creation using just a sentiment and it's an A2 card which I don't think I have made in years! This card uses a new sentiment from the set "Thank You Tiles".

Thanks so much for dropping on by today. We hope you have a lovely Thursday! Happy Stamping!!

Review of New May Rubber

Happy Thursday!

Hope you've all been having a great week! Today I'd like to share two cards I created recently using some of the newly released May Rubber Stamps. I honestly haven't had much crafting time lately so these were creations I posted a couple of weeks ago on my personal blog.

First up is a card using the sweet Baby of Mine from Crissy Armstrong along with the Welcome Baby Sentiments and the Welcome Baby Die Set from Raindrop Echo Designs. You can find all of these items in the Whimsy Shop now.

Next is a card using Crissy's new image Wee Snippet and Mystic along with Ann's sentiment from the Magical Mini Letter Seals set.

Both of these cards also use some charms which you can find in our shop as well. We just added a few new selections yesterday too! You can see all we have available HERE.

Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you have a wonderful afternoon!

Some Fairy Inspiration

Hi All and Happy Thursday!

Hope you're week is going well! We've had lots of fun things happening here at Whimsy. Last Sunday was our monthly digital stamp release. Each of our artists released new images and sentiments and we also have a brand new digi artist at Whimsy too! Natalie of Moon Cookie Gallery has added her fun new style of artwork to our growing digital collection.

We also have new flowers, embellishments, and charms to offer you now too. You can see the full paper crafting embellishments selection in the shop HERE. And on Wednesday, May 18th we'll be releasing our May rubber stamps! We are very excited about this new release! Hope you will join us for our blog hop celebration!

Today I wanted to share a couple of my most recent creations. Both of these cards use the new Meljen's Designs rubber stamps - Curious Little Fairy and Little Fairy Friend.

For this card I opted for a blue theme with stitching and soft embellishments. This card also uses the Postcard BG and Everyday Mini Postage Stamp sentiments.

And this sweet fairy has been done up with a pink theme and a bit more distressed too. The sentiment is from the Handmade Letter Seals set.

You can find all of these stamps and all your Whimsy favorites in the shop now! Anything currently out of stock will be back in stock shortly, we are anticipating a shipment on Friday. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Have a great day!

A Sneak Peek and More

Morning All!

I'm here today to share 2 cards with you, both using Meljen's Designs images. The first one is actually a sneak peek at a brand new rubber stamp, which will be released tomorrow! We are releasing a total 9 new stamps and sets to our Rubber Collections and we'll host a blog hop with lots of inspiration and some prize chances too! All the fun starts at Noon EST, Wednesday December 8th!

This is Cozy Cap Mouse....isn't he just adorable!

For more details on how I made this card you can visit my blog and read more.

The next card I have to share uses one of Melissa's sweet new penguin digital stamps. Meljen's Designs has a huge selection of holiday digital stamps that can be resized, flipped or rotated to fit your project and you can download them immediately after purchasing and get started on your holiday projects right away!

This is Penguin's Little Letter....

I've used some holiday Bo Bunny papers and then embellished with ribbon, snowflakes, and sticky gems. Sorry if the image seems blurry, I tried to photograph this card 4 or 5 times and each time it was fuzzy looking. I think the camera was picking up the shine on the gems or something!

Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you have a great Tuesday and I hope we'll see you back here tomorrow for our newest rubber release!

Maya and Marissa

Morning!

Just a quick post today to share a creation with this sweet rubber stamp called Maya and Marissa. This is from the Crissy Armstrong Collection and was released in July.

I've gone for a more vintage feel with this card and did lots of distressing on the papers and on the image. The image has crackle glue over it to give the appearance of cracked glass.

To see more Whimsy creations please be sure to scroll down or visit us again tomorrow! And stay tuned as later this week we will share some sneak peeks at the new Holiday release rubber stamps!

Miss Innocent

Hi All!

Today I just have time for a quick post to share the card I made yesterday using the new image Miss Innocent by Crissy Armstrong. This is a new digi which released on Sunday this past weekend. She's sort of the counterpart to the digi image Love Me Anyway, except this time for dog lovers!

Hope you are having a fabulous day! If you've created anything with one of our Whimsy Stamps images, please be sure to let us know. We'd love to see it!

And this month the Whimsy challenge is Anything Goes, so get out those Whimsy's and start crafting!

Happy Stamping,

Denise

Some Whimsy with Crissy's Designs

Good Morning All!

Hope you're having a great week! Today I wanted to share 2 cards I created recently using some of our artist Crissy Armstrong's designs. One is a digital image and one of her new rubber stamp designs which released on July 19th.

First is Jelly Bean our new rubber stamp of this adorably sweet elephant!

I used this image to create this soft and pretty baby card and I love Jelly Bean in blue!

Next, I used the digital image Love Me Anyway to create this card.

How could anyone be mad at that sweet face!

Our team will be here on Sunday, August 1st with some new digital stamps which release that morning at 10am EST. Hope you'll join us for a new release celebration! Until then, stay tuned for more Whimsy creations from the design team!

Have a great day!

Hang in There

Hello!

Today I have a special card to share which is also part of a special blog hop! Whimsy Stamps has joined our Senior Designer Erin in her endeavor to bring some smiles and warm wishes to Bella Tucker. You can read all about the campaign HERE on Erin's blog. Each Tuesday for the next 4 weeks there will be little mini blog hops and prizes to be won all in an effort to help send some smiles to Bella! We hope you will join us and share the Wishes for Bella badge on your blog and then make and send a card to Bella.

This is my card for the hop today, which began on my blog Stamping with Denise. I've used the digital stamp Hang in There with some girlie pinks and reds.

I've used some SU! papers and designer prints and a lace doily with my circle Nesties. I also embossed the layer behind the image. The image was colored with Copics and then cut out and popped up with foam tape. I've embellished with sticky pearls, lots of flowers, and two "Happy Mail" Ticket sentiments from Whimsy Stamps.

I hope you'll join our hop and cause to help Bella! Thanks for visiting today. Happy Stamping!

The Design Team gals have been working hard to bring you lots of great sneaks all this week! So stay tuned for more and be sure to visit their blogs because there will be other peeks than just here on the Whimsy Inspirations Blog.

Here's is my sneak peek at Maya Blowing Bubbles from the Download a Dream, Digital Stamps by Crissy Armstrong Collection. This image along with many others will be available to purchase on Monday, April 12th!

Isn't she the cutest ever?! I just love her sweet and innocent face and she reminds me of my own daughter playing with bubbles in our driveway every summer. I've colored her in yellows and blues to match these fun Lime Rickey papers. The bubbles have also been given some crystal effects for a shiny wet look.

Thanks for stopping over today! Hope you'll pop back over tomorrow to see what else we have in store! Have a great day!

Happy Stamping,

Froggie for Your Monday

Good Afternoon All!

Hope you've been having a great Monday! I tried to post a card earlier, but Mr. Blogger was giving me trouble. So I posted a little news instead. Now I'm back to try again.

I'll be quick as my last post was rather long....

This is a card using Whimsy Frog, one of our very first Whimsy Stamps products. I just adore his sweet smiling face.

I went with some fun Lime Rickey papers from BasicGrey with different shades of green card stock. Then I embellished with flowers and ribbons and buttons.

This card fits the challenges at:
Quixotic Challenges: Monochromatic
Creative Card Crew: Going Dotty

Thanks for coming on by again today. I hope you have a nice afternoon. Join us here tomorrow for another fun Whimsy creation!

Happy Stamping,
