Hello, Whimsy friends! It's Cherry Nelson back with you today. While the 4th has passed, I still wanted to share this cute card made for Whimsy Stamps. It has been so fun creating with their line of dies. My love for red, white, and blue runs deep all year long. I enjoy decorating and creating with our patriotic colors through the summer months and not just through the 4th.
I once again played with the Shaker Maker Combo die set. This time I used the large square stitched frame and of course created it to be a shaker! This frame is so cool because it is large and you can fill it up with all kinds of goodies.
I had fun fussy cutting some faux scramble letters. I adhered them to some chipboard to give them some dimension and strength and than glued them into place. Some buttons, sequins, and confetti in matching colors were than added.
I wanted some matching flowers so I used the Peony Flower Die to create some perfectly coordinated paper blooms. Using a foam mat with a good flower ball stylus tool really helps to give your blooms some texture and shape. I love how these navy blue ones ended up looking like frayed denim after I was done.
Well my friends that is it for me....hope you enjoyed my "Freedom Bird" shaker card!
XOXO, Cherry
So pretty
