Hello everyone! Welcome to our very first Saturday Spotlight guest artist feature, where each month our guest will bring you inspiration using our newest Clearly Whimsy Stamps!
For this month's Saturday Spotlight, the talented Virginia Lu has created a gorgeous card using the Mom's Layered Flowers stamp set! You can find this in the Whimsy Stamps shop here.
Virginia has used both the outline flowers and the layering stamp to create a beautiful flower garden on her card; I love the warm colors she has chosen, an even coordinated her sequins to match the colors used in the flowers! Let's hear more about this card from Virginia herself...
From Virginia:
It is always a good idea to group the images in odd numbers. Our brains find things that we group in 3s are most appealing and memorable. Hence, in my card, there are 3 flowers, 3 colors and 3 sequins. The small text stamps in this set are perfect for tone on tone stamping. I stamped the sentiment in light brown on kraft card stock. With the added dimensions, the flower images just pop! Lastly, don't forget to use gold or glitter as accent. A little bling goes a long way. Hope you find these tips helpful. I can't wait to see what you create.
Thanks so much to Virginia for creating such a lovely card for us!! Be sure to check out Virginia's blog for more of her work... she's super talented!
Now it's your turn to create!

Lovely card, Virginia. I'm not sure if it's the colors, spatial eye appeal or what---but this card sings.
