GingerSnaps!

Howdy ya'll! I've been waiting to use the Slip 'n Slide Die Set from Whimsy - er, rather, it's been waiting for me patiently sitting on my desk. Well, I finally got around to using it and it's been so much fun. I used the large circle and combined it with the new GingerSnaps! clear stamp. I used a dime to help weight the spinner so it would spin easily. Lastly, I colored and used the Wishes Word Chipboard from Make it Crafty.

Polar Bear Christmas - special guest - Dena Concienne

Hello again, I'm back to share another sweet Whimsy Stamp with you.

This time around I am using one of Crissy Armstrong's stamps called Polar Bear's Christmas Tree.  I truly have a "thing" for polar bears.  I think they are adorable. 

He is super cute right?!!  I tore a piece of paper to make the snow bank background and used distress ink to color the sky.  I then flicked white paint onto the sky for the now.  The polar bear was also colored with distress ink.  I added some fur details with a white pen when all was dry.

I added the Holiday Word Die from Whimsy to the bottom.  I cut out several and stacked them together for a raised effect and cut a single red slightly off from the white.  I have again added lots of stickles for some winter sparkle.

Angel Wishes - special guest - Dena Concienne

Hey there! I'm so happy to be a Guest Designer for Whimsy Stamps this month!  I love so many of their darling stamps.

For today, I couldn't resist creating with the Angel Wishes stamp by Marina Fedetova.  These sweet faces are irresistible!

I colored the angels on watercolor paper with distress inks using Fired Brick and Bundled Sage for the dresses, and shaded with a bit of Black Soot.  I used lots of stickles to give it the sparkly holiday feel.  The stitching was just an added touch.

Thank you so much, Whimsy Stamps, for having me as a Guest Designer, I had a blast getting back into my card making with this super cute stamp!
