Product Spotlight with Special Guest Vladka

Hello Friends, Today we are happy to share this adorable card created by Special Guest Vladka using our Penguin and Bear rubber stamp and sentiment from our Irreplaceable Friend clear stamp set.

Vladka colored the image with distressed inks and distressed oxide inks and then mounted to Kraft card stock. The sentiment is heat embossed with white embossing powder.  I like how clean and simple this card is as it really makes the image pop. Be sure to pop by Vladka's blog to see more of her amazing creations.

Product Spotlight with Special Guest Kay

Hello crafty peeps!

Happy Sunday to you all, hope you're having a good weekend. Today we have a special guest post featuring a card made by Kay Miller. This card uses our Penguin and Bear rubber stamp

I just love the cheery colors of this card and the simple design really allows for the image to stand out and shine! Kay has stamped this image in waterproof ink on Bristol board and then colored with Copic Markers.  She then used some Peerless watercolor ink to create the background. The sentiment is from our Snowman and Friends rubber stamp set.  Kay used a set of stitched rectangle dies to cut out the image and then mounted on some coordinating designer paper.

We hope you enjoyed this beautiful creation as much as we do. And be sure to pop over to Kay's blog, My Joyful Moments, to see more of her stunning work.  Huge thanks to Kay for joining us as a special guest!

Big Balloon Celebrations

Hi Whimsy fans. It's my turn to post on the blog today and I have a fun birthday card to share with you. I absolutely love the Big Balloon Celebrations stamp set and use it for my card today.

I started by stamping several of the balloons in varying colors of inks. I love that they overlap each other, mimicking the look of real balloons and the transparency that they have.

I then stamped the sentiment, which is from the same stamp set. I popped this panel up on some foam tape and added some black and white striped paper to the side for added interest.

I hope you've enjoyed this card today. Crafty hugs!

I Compel You....

Hello Whimsy Friends, it's Iris here today. I have some more from the new release to share.  Dracula I compel you is the name of the Stamp set I feature on my card today. I love this little guy and who can resist those eyes?

To make the star shaker I used the Pierced Stars Die Set. I cut out a star frame from double sided tape using two of the star dies (the second and the third largest). I used the same two dies to cut out a matching frame from designer paper. The larger of the two star dies was used to die cut a star shape from an acetate sheet. I then adhered one side of the star frame to my card stock. Filled it with sequins, stars etc., and attached the acetate star shape. Using Rangers Multi Medium Matte I glued the designer paper star frame on top of the acetate sheet.
I then stamped the Dracula image and cut it out with the matching die from the Dracula I Compel You Die Set.
I colored the little Dracula with Copics. The sentiment is part of the Dracula I compel you stamp set The word die 'Sparkle' as well as the cute little bats are all included in the Dracula I Compel You Die Set.
