Today is full of promise!

Hello everyone & Happy TGIF! It's me again, Iris - today I like to show you another creation I made for the latest Whimsy Inspirational Magazine Issue 2.

I used the cute Balloon Mouse from Meljens Designs and colored it using my Copics. The sentiment is from Raindrop Echo Designs Time Flies set. I paper pieced the balloon using DP from Basic Grey's Oxford collection. The image was masked and then I stamped the background with Antique Linen Distress Ink using the Music Notes Background stamp also from Raindrop Echo Design. The border punch is from MS. Edges were distressed with Antique Linen and Walnut Stain.

Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs,
Iris

Fairy Friend

Happy Hump-Day Whimsy Fans! This is one of my cards I made for the Whimsy Inspirational Magazine issue 2 / August. The cute fairy image is a Meljens Designs image and called Little Fairy Friend. I colored it using Copics and colored pencils (Prismas and Faber Castell) to deepen he shadows. I also made a tutorial on how to use Copics and pencils. You'll find it her in the new magazine: Copics & Pencils starting on page 42. DP is from Basic Grey's ‘Whisteria’ collection, cardstock violet and purple from Colorbok. Dies I've used are from Whimsy Shapeology: ‘Elegant Flourishes’ and  Marianne Design: doily die. Embellishments: Whimsy Embellishments ‘Oval Ribbon Slider’, different Stickles, rhinestones, half pearls, ribbon, paper flowers.

Thanks for visiting the Whimsy Inspirational Blog today!
Have a great rest of the week!

Hugs,
Iris

Starry, starry night!!

Hi there people!!!
I hope everyone enjoyed their weekends!!!
It's my turn to post on the Inspirations Blog
and I thought, hey, with this time of year
creeping up on us before we know it,
you know, Christmas Time,
I'd share a recent project I made
featuring some Whimsy sweetness from last season!!

This stamp is called Starry Night, it's an image illustrated for Whimsy Stamps by Crissy Armstrong!!! I've added the perfect compliment to this starry scene, Winter Letter Seals by Ann Vento!!

So, how many of you bloggers have already started your Christmas creations???

Wishing you a wonderful day!!
